X (film) Alternate ending

You mentioned that the alternate ending was released in Britain. Do you have any cites for that other than first-person experience? *wry grin* Eyewitness accounts being what they are, it would be nice to have something a bit more solid. I had a watch on the page, noticed that you updated your user page. I removed your edit regarding the X alternate ending because I still have yet to find a source other than your personal account about the alternate ending being in international releases and the rules pretty much forbid us to use each other as sources. ^_^ So, if you know of any print or website proof, I would be much obliged. -Fuzzy (talk) 20:04, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

BLAH BLAH BLAH. I talk from experience I saw the movie when I was a kid and it really disturbed me because. Ray Milland walks into the tent.The preacher is giving his blurb the preacher then says "If your eye offends ye pluck it out" Ray milland stands there ranting and then puts his hands to his eyes and make gouging movements with his fingers, then pulls his hands away...... where his eyes had been there is black surounded by blood. X cries out "I can still see,I still see!" all around him you can hear women screaming and the shot freezes on his face. Perhaps because of the shocking nature of this final scene. The makers of this movie re-shot the end of it for the US market because of their tender nerves. I can't prove what I saw because I have not seen this movie for donkeys years.
