Great internship

edit

I saw your edit at Nature-based solutions. This looks like a great internship!! I wish you all the best with Wikipedia editing! You might like to help with biodiversity and biodiversity loss. Both articles are not great yet. Please don't just add new content but also improve the reading ease score. Use the readability tool that Wikipedia provides. It's great. You can see the link to it on my user page. Also take a look at the project that I had: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/SDGs/Communication_of_environment_SDGs (it's coming to an end now but I am looking for further funding for similar projects... Maybe we could do something together). EMsmile (talk) 12:11, 17 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi EM, thank you and lovely to hear from you! I will consider working on those articles and thanks for the tip on readability. Interesting project and looks like a lot has been done. Feel free to send me an email if you'd like to discuss a potential collaboration - that could be great! Manxshearwater (talk) 15:00, 17 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

AfC notification: Draft:No net loss has a new comment

edit

I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:No net loss. Thanks! Robert McClenon (talk) 01:40, 10 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
There is currently a redirect from [No net loss]] to No net loss wetlands policy. There is also a Requested Move to rename No net loss wetlands policy to No net loss wetlands policy in the United States. Consideration should be given to accepting this draft as No net loss environmental policy, because it applies to other types of environmental resources besides wetlands, and moving the existing article, which is nation-oriented. Robert McClenon (talk) 01:40, 10 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, Robert! Manxshearwater (talk) 13:04, 22 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

DYK for Nature-positive

edit

On 21 August 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Nature-positive, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that more than 90 world leaders have made a pledge to achieve nature-positive goals? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Nature-positive. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Nature-positive), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Olwen Rhys, from its old location at User:Manxshearwater/olwenrhys.
