Image descriptions

Hi Manoj nav, thanks for uploading your images to Wikipedia, but they would be more useful to others if they had descriptions. Just go into the edit section of the images, and after where it says "Description=", add yours. It is important to add both descriptive (who, what, when, where, why) and technical (equipment, software, etc.) information at the time of creating the page, which will be useful and highly informative to later editors and readers.

Mithla etc. culture

Hi Manoj,

After a long silence -- my apologies -- I revisited the articles you started on Mithla and other cultures in and around Bihar. It's disappointing to see that other Wikipedians haven't picked up the ball yet. I would love to, only my expertise is mainly in Nepal, and Rapti zone which is north of U.P. at that, so I'm sure I'd just be putting foot in mouth.

I'm curious about the connection between Mithla culture and the Kosi river. Perhaps the flood of 2008 triggers that. How central is the river and its megafan? Is Mithla culture mostly confined to that area, or is it much larger?

There certainly is much still to be written about India (Bihar especially) in WP and I admire your productivity in this. LADave (talk) 06:17, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
