Anupama Gowda is a Popular South Indian Actress based in Bangalore, she has done over 6 movies in Kannada cinema, has been a part of numerous TV serials and reality shows including "Kannada Bigg Boss Season 5".

Anupama started her career in 2011, she participated in a reality show called "Halli Duniya" which was telecasted on Kasturi TV.

After her participation in Halli Duniya, she acted in a series called "Anna Thangi", followed by "Chi Sow Savithri".

Personal life

Anupama did her schooling at Sheeba English Medium School, she did her PU courses at SJRC, Women's and then went on to complete a course in Fashion Design at IIFT. She also worked at a dance school called "Shadows 1" for a couple of years, it is in this place she honed her dancing skills.

Career

Anupama's role in a series names "Akka" can be mentioned as a highlight of her TV Career, this series had over 1000 episodes and she played a dual role in this series, she was the protagonist and the antagonist of this series.

She has also been a part of the first Kannada web series called "Loose Connection" (Aug 2017).

Her first movie was "Nagari", however, her role in a 2018 release, Aa Karaala Ratri got rave reviews for her performance. She played the role of a village girl who is frustrated about life and would do anything to succeed in life. She acted alongside, Karthik Jayaram and Kannada veterans "Rangayana Raghu" and "Veena Sundar".

After Aa Karaala Ratri, she acted in a movie named "Benkiyali Aralida Hoovu" and "Ranga Mandira". Anupama has completed shooting for both the movies and is currently working on a crime thriller directed by Dayal Padmanabhan titled "Thrayambakam". She also played a cameo in "Puta 109".

Anupama is very popular among the masses for her girl-next-door looks and her great acting skills. She is also a very talented dancer.

She has also hosted a Kannada Reality Talent Hunt for singers, "Kannada Kogile" this was telecasted on Colors Super. Anupama has a long-standing association with Colors since her participation in Bigg Boss.

She is also a part of the short film "Heegendu Aagadirali" which is currently in post-production.
