Speedy deletion nomination of File:Rhea Sharma in tu sooraj main saanjh piyaaji.jpeg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Rhea Sharma in tu sooraj main saanjh piyaaji.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Orphaned non-free image File:Sanjivani2.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Sanjivani2.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:00, 15 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia and copyright edit

Hello Mandeep Rumana, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your additions to Ishq Subhan Allah have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 12:47, 17 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

File copyright problem with File:Star Utsav.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Star Utsav.jpg. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 20 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Nazar StarPlus.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Nazar StarPlus.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Verbcatcher (talk) 02:17, 10 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Malformed quotes edit

Hi there, re: this edit, if you are going to present quotations, then you need to follow proper quotation formatting. For instance "The show has grabbed the attention of the audiences with the plot" does not appear in the reference provided. Refactoring quotations is not allowed. There are some commonly accepted workarounds, but you will have to learn them on your own. See MOS:QUOTE. Either totally rewrite the information with unique words, or present the quotations properly, please. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:57, 24 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

DO NOT COPY edit

"DO NOT COPY" is a basic concept in academia. The content you added here at Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka! was copied from here. This is unacceptable. Copying is intellectually dishonest and lazy, and constitutes intellectual theft. Plagiarism and copyright violations will not be tolerated at Wikipedia. If you can't write in your own words in proper English, then you should not be editing prose. Also, you shouldn't be here to promote anything, which is what it looks like you're doing by obsessing over a show's TRP ratings. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:25, 26 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Reliable sources edit

Re: this and your previous submission(s), you do not get to unilaterally declare that a website is a reliable source. That's a matter for the community to discuss if there is a difference of opinion. And when your changes are reverted, your recourse is to open a discussion on the article's talk page and seek consensus for the change you want to make. Televisionpost.com is not a mainstream source that everybody knows, like India Today or Hindustan Times or that sort of prominence. That doesn't mean that the information is not correct, but you still need to find a better source. And since you already have a history of making edits that seem promotional in nature, you need to start thinking about ways to submit content that doesn't sound like you're trying to sell the series. And since we're now talking about this, you need to quickly familiarise yourself with our conflict of interest guidelines and WP:PAID our community policy on paid edits. If you are being paid to edit, you must declare that along with who your client is, who is paying you, as well as any other relevant relationship. Failure to do so can result in your account being terminated, and any changes that you make could be removed. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:05, 29 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Again you tried to add this source Here despite the fact that the reason of removal of the source was explained to you here as well as in the edit summaries. Please note that some sources are not considered reliable by the community, Please check WP:ICTFSOURCES to know which sources are considered as reliable and which are not. --Sid95Q (talk) 05:23, 31 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
There are some Wikipedia Pages like Namah in which TelevisionPost.com is considered as a reliable source . Mandeep Rumana (talk) 06:05, 31 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
Just because it is present on another article does not make it reliable. It is quite possible that the user who added that ref was not aware about the community guidelines and it was not noticed by someone who was aware about it. WP:OTHERSTUFF exists on Wikipedia but that does not allow other users to use same stuff everywhere as Wikipedia works on Guidelines and Community consensus. English proficiency edit

Edits like this, where your vague writing makes it sound like Divya Drishti is in the top 20 of all television shows watched worldwide, are problematic. If you don't have a strong comprehension of English, you need to find other ways to contribute. Additionally, content like this where you gush about how "exceptionally well" the series is performing on the weekend is not proper encyclopedic tone, and isn't even supported by the reference. The reference does say that the series does better on the weekend than most Indian fiction series do, but that's not the same thing as "exceptionally well". If you continue to add problematic prose like this, I will have no choice but to interrupt your editing privileges. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:05, 1 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

I will read and research before using an IP that is not mine.I will check my words before using it.Secondly, when someone has your phone then he might have your details like your name, email etc. Please try to understand that i am not trying to mislead you.I haven't made any another account. You are looking at the mistakes that i have done but can't you look at the contributions that i have done for wikipedia.I want a last chance. Please unblock my account Mandeep Rumana (talk) 03:37, 19 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

That's not how this works. To be unblocked, you need to explain what it is you did wrong, what steps you will take to avoid doing it again, and what constructive edits you will make. As copyright violations can potentially put Wikipedia in legal jeopardy, there can't be an end date on the block. It will be removed when you do as I have asked. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 13:30, 16 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You must also address the sockpuppetry issue. Please read WP:GAB to learn how to craft an acceptable unblock request. 331dot (talk) 13:32, 16 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Mandeep, you'd best be cautious if you choose to open another unblock request, as administrators tend to get tired of multiple problematic requests. Abusing this system will quickly result in your talk page access being revoked. The two main issues you must ruminate on are 1) copyright violations -- what constitutes a copyright violation, why are copyright violations problematic? There are no fewer than eight copyright notices on your page, which suggests that either you have no capacity to understand what a copyright violation is, or that you don't care. How do you ignore eight copyright notices? And 2) you must explain why you think that you have the right to evade a block by opening another account.
Oh, and I have to ask, are you a paid editor? If you are being paid, per WP:PAID you must disclose this fact, as well as the name of the company that pays you, who your client/clients is/are, and any other relevant information. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:01, 16 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Again, you haven't demonstrated that you understand what a copyright is or indicated how you'd avoid violating copyrights in the future. And your suggestion that you added copyrighted content by accident is ludicrous. How do you steal content by accident? Additionally, your argument that some mysterious person created an account on your phone, which coincidentally had the same name as yours, is completely unbelievable. The community doesn't care for lies. If you're not going to be honest with other members of the community, you should find some other hobby. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:52, 18 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
To any reviewing admin, somehow the editor responded to the copyright query up above. And Mandeep, to your repeated assertion that someone in possession of your phone created a sockpuppet account in your name, sorry, but, that's just so implausible as to be ridiculous, and that's why someone many years ago wrote WP:LITTLEBROTHER. Why would a random person who happened to have possession of your phone create a phony account in your name at Wikipedia so they could continue the same editing you were engaged in? That defies any sort of logic. Anybody who steals or "borrows" a phone is likely just to be interested in getting free calls or free internet or accessing porn or committing scams or anything other than editing Wikipedia in the same areas you are interested in. This defense is absolutely ludicrous. Stop lying. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 06:23, 19 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

WP:THREESTRIKES edit

Since you were again found to be violating your block by using the account DeepSingh5, per WP:THREESTRIKES, you are de facto banned from the community. Any edit you make may be reverted by any editor without regard for whether it was helpful or not. Any articles you create may be deleted, and hours of work you spend will be wasted by the single click of a button. I'll also note that even despite your claim to know what a copyright is, you still can't consistently present quotes as quotes or write summaries in your own words. Problem!
