Hello, Malmendras, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as America's Marine Highway Program, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Hello! I noticed that you've started to work on this article in what we call mainspace (where all the articles are kept). We don't generally build articles from scratch in mainspace and if we do, they're generally expected to be worked on all at one time and posted relatively quickly. Even then, they're expected to satisfy a few guidelines, namely WP:NOTABILITY, to stay there. To make sure that your work isn't deleted, I've moved the article to your userspace. You can easily find the article at User:Malmendras/America's Marine Highway Program where you can work on it in pieces in peace. If you ever need any help with writing the article or moving it back to mainspace when you're done, don't hesitate to contact me. OlYeller21Talktome 16:47, 8 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

In order to help other students like you enjoy editing while contributing positively to Wikipedia, it's extremely helpful to hear from real student editors about their challenges, successes, and support needs.
