Hello, I'm Path slopu. I noticed that in this edit to List of programs broadcast by Hum TV, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. PATH SLOPU 16:28, 7 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Yamaguchi先生. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Baloch people, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 17:59, 13 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Punjabi Muslims, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 18:00, 13 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Notification of discretionary sanctions

edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Sockpuppet investigation

edit

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Maligbro1223, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

edit

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. -- RoySmith (talk) 02:52, 8 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Tera Gham Aur Hum moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Tera Gham Aur Hum, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Recent edit at Kasuri (fabric)

edit

Hi - your recent edit to move the Kasuri page to Kasuri (fabric) was left with the edit summary of 'Confusion with the surname kasuri', but no such Wikipedia article on the surname exists, and no disambiguation page for the term 'Kasuri' exists, either.

If the surname 'kasuri' is WP:NOTABLE enough to have an article written on it, then the edit stands, but as no actual article entitled Kasuri (surname) exists yet, it's impossible to tell if there *is* considerable confusion between the two terms, on Wikipedia at least, that would lead to your edit being necessary.

I have to say I don't think it is, but surnames such as 'kasuri' are really uncommon in the country where I live, so I can't really judge it. I'm gonna leave your edit, but if you're not intending to create the article Kasuri (surname) - or put it in as a suggestion over at Articles for Creation - then it's likely to be reverted some time in the future (or at least be re-named). Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Seri Bahlol, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sahr. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

November 2020

edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Shahmukhi. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. power~enwiki (π, ν) 08:58, 4 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Tera Gham Aur Hum

edit

Hello, Maligbro1223. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Tera Gham Aur Hum".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Proposed deletion of List of spiritual entities in Islam

edit

The article List of spiritual entities in Islam has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There is no uniform categorization nor a complete list of spiritual creatures in Islam. Due to Islam's lack of clerigy, such lists are usually opinnion based. More precise lists, like "creatures in the Quran", already exists.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
