The last sentence of paragraph one is wrong in the most important possible sense. I posted the suggested edit a full month before editing the article. I DID provide a reference to Kip Thorne as well as a direct mathematical proof. You could also just ask Leonard Susskind or Stephen Hawking. You should put the edit back!
