Milo Yiannopoulos edit

Please don't simply keep changing the name back to Hanrahan. He goes by Yiannopoulos and all references and citations are to this name. The correct way to indicate that he has another name is twofold:

  1. Within the body of the article, make the comment that his name is Hanrahan and provide a proper source. This is a biography of a living person and the standards for referencing are higher than usual.
  2. The infobox (the side panel) has an option for giving birth name. This is another place to state his birth name is Hanrahan. It would still require proper sources.

I have assumed good faith up to this point but it starts to look like vandalism if you keep simply reverting without adhering to procedures.

I hope that helps.

Question edit

Please explain your rationale for the name change here. I'm going to revert your changes since I don't see this as being WP:BLP-compliant, but I really have no dog in this fight. I'm entirely willing to be convinced. Guettarda (talk) 18:45, 19 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Given the name change, you might want to go the way of a move request; if Hanrahan is the name by which he's best known, then the page should probably be there. Guettarda (talk) 18:49, 19 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Also note that you have now reverted the article three times. Doing so again with run you afoul of the three-revert rule, which may result in your editing privileges being suspended. Guettarda (talk) 18:46, 19 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
