Fortaleza EC

edit

Hi! When I revert a machine translated text (like the one in the Fortaleza Esporte Clube article), I usually write something like the following in the edit summary: "Reverted to remove machine translated text". I may also write a longer explanation in the article's talk page, and mention that in the edit summary: "Reverted to remove machine translation, check talk page for explanation". There is no point in keeping a machine translated text, as most of it is usually unintelligible. Hope that helps. if you have any question, you can send a message in my talk page. Regards, --Carioca (talk) 17:18, 16 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi! you can go to the history section of the article and revert to the last good version, and then manually add any good info from the machine translated version. You may also send a message (I recommend sending the message in both English and Portuguese, as he may not be able to understand English) to whoever made the machine translation asking him to stop. If you wish to keep the machine translated text, you can place the {{rough translation|Portuguese}} tag on the top of the article. Hope that helps. I reverted to the last version without the machine translated text. --Carioca (talk) 22:13, 17 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
