Afşin edit

Thanks for adding lots of interesting info. Please could you add citations. Chidgk1 (talk) 10:37, 12 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello. Sorry for the late response. I'm somewhat new to Wikipedia, so citing is not my best strength but I found the information on Turkish Wikipedia and reused it. I'm positive the citations for the article can be found there. Magnum5051 (talk) 14:17, 17 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

For example if the copper is as valuable as you say why is there no mine? Chidgk1 (talk) 15:52, 13 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

And is nisanyanmap.com a reliable source? Chidgk1 (talk) 13:10, 14 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Very reliable. All renamed places in Turkey can be found there. Magnum5051 (talk) 14:18, 17 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Do you have reliable sources please? edit

Hello,

Do you have reliable sources for the info you are adding to various articles? For example you wrote that Tufanbeyli is a city Chidgk1 (talk) 13:22, 14 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Everything is reused from Turkish wikipedia, which all have citations that I wasn't able to cover. Hope that answers your question. Magnum5051 (talk) 14:25, 17 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
I guess you use the Visual Editor? To use cites from Turkish Wikipedia here I suggest you copy/cut the url. Then press “cite”, paste the url into “automatic”, press “generate”, press “insert”, if you are feeling generous press “edit” and tick and fill in “translated title” and press “apply changes”.
This does not work for pdfs but usually does for anything else. Any questions/problems with cites please ask. Chidgk1 (talk) 18:23, 17 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Are you a native speaker of Turkish? edit

I am currently trying to bring Oil and gas in Turkey up to good standard. As I am not a native speaker I have found it too difficult to edit Turkish Wikipedia. If you are would you be interested in improving tr:Türkiye'de petrol ve doğalgaz as oil and gas are important for Turkey and topical?

Also whether or not you are a native speaker would you be interested in reviewing Oil and gas in Turkey as described at Wikipedia:Good article nominations/Instructions#Reviewing? Chidgk1 (talk) 18:45, 17 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Akyamaç, Güzelyurt moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Akyamaç, Güzelyurt, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 14:19, 19 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
