October 2007 edit

Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize even after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you! Jmlk17 22:09, 9 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your time and efforts as well. :) Jmlk17 23:22, 9 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Heroes edits edit

No apologies necessary, Magkaz. I had set them in a no-wiki (meaning that they wouldn't appear until we had confirmation of the end of season 2), but some asshat removed it with the very next edit. I'll reinstate it under the no-wiki. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 22:30, 5 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Date formatting edit

Hey, I've just reverted your recent edit to Heroes (TV series), as you added non-standard formatting of dates. As requested in your edit summary, here's a quick pointer about how dates are formatted on Wikipedia: for articles that are primarily to do with American subjects, the date format should be [[mmmm dd]], [[yyyy]], e.g. [[December 11]], [[2007]]. Note the absence of the ordinal suffixes "st", "nd", "rd" and "th". For articles on topics primarily concerning people, events, etc, outside the US, the format should be [[dd mmmm]] [[yyyy]], e.g. [[11 December]] [[2007]]. There are more details at WP:DATE. Let me know if I can help you further. robwingfield «TC» 11:47, 12 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Inappropriate categories edit

Hi. I've commented out some categories on your user page [1] because they make your page display in categories which are inappropriate, such as Category:Wikipedia style guidelines. I'm not sure if you were using them as links, so I haven't removed them. If they were intended as links, you need to write them in the form [[:Category:Wikipedia style guidelines]], with a colon in front of the category. If they were just included in a cut and paste from somewhere, then you can safely delete them. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. Hiding T 20:49, 22 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

peer review edit

I was wondering if you could take some time out of your schedule to head over to the Heroes (TV series) talkpage and give us an honest peer review. The page has gone through some major changes in the last few months, and it would be fantastic if a prominent editor/contributor like yourself, could head over and give us at the Heroes Wikiproject some sound opinion and ideas on improvements for the page. We have all worked very hard at improving the page, and we need great outside, reliable and trustworthy users to come over and help us improve. I you are interested in joining the peer review discussion with other prominent users/contributors, much like yourself, please follow the link. Thank you very much for your help and your continued effort to improve Wikipedia and its quality!   Hello, Magkaz. Based on the templates on your talk page, I would like you to consider joining the Article Rescue Squadron. Rescue Squadron members are focused on rescuing articles for deletion, that might otherwise be lost forever. I think you will find our project matches your vision of Wikipedia. ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. History of the Poles in the United States edit

Given your high fluency in Polish, I am reaching out to you in regards to the History of the Poles in the United States article. It has no Polish equivalent, and any time you can spend towards translating in any capacity would be much-appreciated. I would be more than happy to help any way that I can.

Thank you! Pola.mola (talk) 20:14, 19 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Phish edit

You have not provided any sources that "Phish Heads" is incorrect parlance and "Phans" is the only accepted fan nickname. It looks like they are interchangeable, not that one is more correct than another. Also, "1990's" is grammatically incorrect - see here. Doc StrangeMailboxLogbook 21:09, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
