Dilgo Khyentse

edit

Hi Maeve,

I've opened a user account, so that people may feel more confident about my editing contributions.

I replied to your message, where I clearly explained that I've been correcting fictional narratives with peer-reviewed and scholarly information.

Again, I think that the reason behind your message is a misunderstanding. Thus, also again, I invite you to read his accurate ToL bio : https://treasuryoflives.org/biographies/view/Dilgo-Khyentse-Tashi-Peljor/8825

Dilgo Khyentse's biography at ToL (Treasury of Lives, Biographies of Tibetan Masters) was written in 2009 by the Director and Chief Editor at ToL, Alex Gardner, and uses 5 different highly reliable sources for the information. They include Dilgo Khyentse's autobiography (English translation), a record of his termas and scripts revealed as a Terton (in Tibetan), two biographical portraits by highly respected Tibetan masters, and a biography by a close and highly respected student.

The ToL site is always a pleasure to read and to use, and the entries are often peer reviewed. The number of sources for a bio can sometimes be even more numerous, and the sources are often written in several languages.

As you might plainly ascertain after glancing at the ToL bio (or after carefully reading it at your leisure), my edits are extremely noteworthy and are necessary corrections to the page.

I looked for a method of reinstating my work, but haven't yet found it.

Could you help by reinstating the necessary corrections that I provided?

Or, at minimum, could you please leave me a message stating that you are now OK, no worries, all's good ?

Thank you. Metokpema (talk) 11:39, 21 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi Metokpema, Maeve Kessler won’t be responding, I’m afraid, as they have been blocked from editing. -- Malcolmxl5 (talk) 15:35, 21 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
