User talk:Madimyers/Dog in Burley

Latest comment: 7 years ago by Madimyers in topic Contested deletion

This page may have started as a humorous page but I have turned it into a serious page just as the last two people have requested. And now you are telling this is something I made up. Yeah it's something I made and that's why a professional company made a burley for dogs. Now if you had read my article before reporting it you would know that. Please get back to me and thank you.

Why this Page Needs to be Keep

edit

I created this page so that the internet/world could have one more funny thing. These are my pictures of a dog in a Burley. This page consist of no plagiarism. Additionally, happy and funny pages like this make people's day and give the world a good laugh, even if it's just for a minute. Also it's just supposed to be a humorous page not a real article. So why is it such a bad thing if it exist? Because, it's not. I understand you are busy people, however this page was created for comedic reasons and contains no false info, unlike many other humorous wikipedia pages that YOU KEPT.(not yelling, just adding emphasis) So why would you delete a humorous page with no false info and keep pages that are loaded with false information. I'm not saying you should delete those pages and keep mine, I'm saying that you have to either keep them all or delete them all. You have to be fair. Why is this page such a bad thing and other pages aren't? I'm going to continually add photos to the page making it more humorous with time and all the photos and paragraphs will be about dogs in burleys.

Also, I'm sure, since someone creating a page about a dog in a burley is a big deal, you would love to review and review articles that have rather offensive content about religion. Now we both know these people are joking, but we also both know other people won't see it that way. But it doesn't have to be that way, just keep all the humorous pages.(Not trying to come off as a blackmail attitude, just trying to state harsh facts in the nicest way possible)

Please remember this page contains no offensive content, it's a page about a happy dog in a burley. And I'm sorry if I sounded rude, I didn't mean to. Look I just thought it would be funny to create a humorous page about a dog in a burley. Thank you for taking the time to read this and just to make sure you did, please respond with the pictures I used in the page. And please leave it up long enough that I can see it. I'm sorry to do that.

I apologize that is so poorly structured. I typed it rather quickly.

Once again, thank you for reading this and please leave the page I created. I'm very new to Wikipedia, if I needed to format it differently for it to be a humorous page let me know. Thank I will be expecting a response proving you read this. In addition to the other request, I would like your response to consist of a paragraph with sentences proving you read this or just approve my page. Once again, I'm truly sorry if a sounded rude in any of this, it's very hard to convey your tone over the internet.

Thank you and have a nice day.

I would advise that you please read WP:NOT, and understand what Wikipedia is NOT. Wikipedia's not designed to be a site to post a funny picture, but a reference guide that anyone can edit. The page here doesn't serve this purpose, which is why this is tagged for deletion. RickinBaltimore (talk) 15:36, 27 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Are you an administrator for Wikipedia? Madimyers (talk) 18:56, 27 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

If you are not an administrator for Wikipedia then telling people they're wrong is rude. Reporting is one thing but when someone writes an explanation for the administrator, then it is not your place to call them out again and again. This kind of behavior makes it difficult for others to feel comfortable creating an encyclopedia. There's so much in this world and so many walks of life. If someone wants to write about a part of theirs and the people's around them, then they should. It is not your place to tell them what they can and can't put in this time capsule. Yeah that's right Wikipedia is a time capsule. It is a record of the way people lived and thought. It is the greatest, largest, and most diverse time capsule ever created. Given that why do you think it's okay to destroy the information put in the time capsule? Madimyers (talk) 20:28, 27 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia is not a time capsule, nor is it a site to add something you think is funny because this is a "time capsule", or this can "turn WIkipedia into a YouTube famous level website". This is an encyclopedia, not social media. RickinBaltimore (talk) 20:30, 27 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Dear Wikipedia administrator,

I'm so sorry I got a little off topic there, but thank you for allowing me to use your system to voice my opinion. Madimyers (talk) 20:30, 27 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Why Wikipedia Needs Pages Like This

edit

Wikipedia is famous for its funny pages and vandalism. Now people putting false facts and inappropriate items on professional articles is wrong. But they will do it, unless Wikipedia allows for people to create humorous pages. Creating humorous pages will make people want to share them on all kinds of social media and magazines want to write articles about them. And once that happens people click on links to view these hilarious pages and them BOOM! They are on Wikipedia, whether or not to was for the reason Wikipedia was created for, more people will start browsing Wikipedia and creating accounts. We are talking about turning Wikipedia into a youtube level famous website. This would be great for stocks and investors.

Thank you for reading, this would be a positive thing for Wikipedia.

Ok, this is CLEARLY what Wikipedia is not to be used for. This is bordering on behavior that makes it seem you are WP:NOTHERE to build an encyclopedia. RickinBaltimore (talk) 16:36, 27 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Are you an administrator for Wikipedia?

Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

By the way would that be considered vandalism because, I think it would. Why is it on your page? Madimyers (talk) 18:59, 27 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Contested deletion

edit

This page should not be speedy deleted as pure vandalism or a blatant hoax, because this is not vandalism or a blatant hoax. This is a record that I have chosen to put into this encyclopedia. I have written thousands of times stating why it should not be deleted. And I have explained and given reason but this bully won't quit. In fact I wrote in my first response a way for me to prove they read my entire response and he did not do as I requested, that proves he is not willing to be reasonable and that he just want to see this page be deleted. He is just targeting me and knocking me down, but too bad for him I WON'T QUIT.

Sorry if I sound aggressive or rude, anything I said that offended you I apologize for.

Thank you for listening. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Madimyers (talkcontribs) 21:21, 27 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
