CPD

edit

Welcome to wikipedia! I'm glad you've signed on to help, particularly with the CPD info. You are obviously quite knowledgeable on the subject to say the least. :-)

I've been working on a lengthy rewrite of their history plus adding bio on Steve, and I hope I'll be able to get your help when I get it closer to ready with verifying stuff and making sure I didn't leave anything out. The real trick with Wikipedia is getting what they consider "verifiable" information. The whole thing's like a research paper, but unfortunately the CPD page cited none of its sources when I took it under my wing. I used the old Daddy World page in conjunction with the archive.org wayback machine to get valid sources from different publications that are no longer available, and I printed out the whole stack of dead info along with their source and publication date, as needed for a proper wikipedia page. I have approximately 400 pages of info that I've been highlighting and categorizing into an outline (in my spare time of course) for about eight months. I am currently 2/3 of the way through the info.

Once I have an outline, I would be thrilled if you would be willing to help me track down any info or sources for any info I am flat out missing.

Thanks, --UnhandledException 23:12, 6 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sure i'm glad to help, well right now the new daddy world will prob help you with any articles that you could cite from. It can be hard to get Info on them since the band it self has not kept track of it. Things like the names the daddies have gone by can be really hard unless you have old gig posters. some of which can be found on ebay*just to see the names on it*. I do own a few my self so can tell you some of the names they went by.
