Changing redirects

edit

Hi Macraw83-

I see that you're going around changing all of the links to Virginia Tech shootings into Virginia Tech massacre. That's very helpful in the article space, but please don't change people's comments on talk pages. Altering other users' comments without permission is frowned upon because it seems deceptive. There's no need to change what people have said; redirects exist for a reason. Thanks for your contributions, A Traintalk 17:57, 17 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sorry about the issue; have learned and will not make the same mistake again! :) Macraw83 14:50, 19 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Straw poll

edit

You expressed opinions on the reordering of Cho Seung-hui's name. Please vote in the straw poll on renaming him in Wikipedia here. --Dynaflow 07:00, 18 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject IROC

edit

You are listed as a member of WikiProject IROC. The WikiProject was recently marked as inactive. I have proposed either closing the WikiProject, broadening its scope to all North American or American stock cars, or changing it to become a taskforce under its parent Wikiproject WikiProject Motorsport. Please comment at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject IROC#Inactive.2C direction to go. You have one week to reply. Royalbroil 03:17, 9 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wikiproject ACC

I just wanted to let you know I am trying to revive the somewhat dormant Wikiproject ACC and invite you to stop over for a look. CrazyPaco (talk) 06:55, 16 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
