Using a simplified version of the text that Karl Scherer added (as User:202.37.72.100 at this edit) to Turing Machine. It is consequently likely that User:68.160.162.88 is Karl Scherer, in the "vanity page" ilk.
The connection between User:202.37.72.100 and Karl Scherer is the highly obvious "zillions games as external links" added in the same edit to Turing Machine, as User:Karlscherer3 is extremely fond of doing.

Request for Mediation, Please! :) edit
Hi MacGyver! I'm sure you've heard of the new Hillary Clinton expose that was just published. (The Truth About Hillary: What She Knew, When She Knew it, and How far she'll go to be President) by Edward Klein. I purchased the book out of morbid curiosity and thought Wikipedia would like to have a book summary. So I wrote one on the page, which had very little info on it, and did my upmost to be as middle-of-the-road as possible. Everyone seems to like the article but one particular users continues to object to the fact that we have characterized two people who have made comments on the novel as liberal and conservative. Matt Drudge, who is responsible single-handedly for it being a Number 1 amazon best-seller was identified as conservative. Joe Conason, who had made the first liberal response to it was identified as liberal. Their quotes on the novel are reproduced, along with their names and political views.
This is under the controversy subheading, to show the two sides of the debate. A user, who seems to have two names -- Pitchka [2] and Dwain [3] has been removing Drudge's conservative characterization. I then put an interview excerpt of an interview with Drudge on the TALK page for the article stating he's conservative and proud of it. I restored the conservative characterization. Then he began deleting both the conservative and liberal characterization. It was replaced by myself with an explanation, and other users have spoken up saying that they're important to include, simply because it better informs the reader as to the source of these opinions. However, Dwain and/or Pitchka continue to revert it against the consensus opinion. He left a message on my talk page (my name is RJSampson [4]) blasting liberals (though I myself lean conservative) and saying "And since I started this article I will not give in to you on this issue". It's almost as if he isn't concerned about providing information, but is simply acting impulsively. I wrote him back kindly, explaining my position as I have on the talk page, but consensus doesn't register with him, nor does simply talking out our ideas. His page indicates he's extremely conservative and he enjoys how that angers people on wikipedia. He seems to consider everyone else stupid, from what i read on Pitchka[5]. I've tried everything I can think of to make a professional, central article but nothing has helped resolve this needless conflict. Please advise.

You need to start by installing the whole of the pywikipediabot set of tools. There's some advice on how to get started at meta:Using the python wikipediabot. Get hold of the most recent version using CVS — since you're on Windows you may need to install a CVS implementation, e.g. [6]. You will know that it's working when you can run login.py sucessfully. Quick Question (Page Deletions) edit
Hi! I was wondering if you could tell me how I can find out the "lag time" or whatever its called for page deletions to actually take place after the deletion discussion has started on a given article. Also, is there a specific number of days that each page has, or does it depend on the discussion? Heya, may I ask how Mgmbot is being operated? Is its cleanup-marking done heuristically or is there someone pulling its strings behind the scenes? Though the cleanup tags I've seen it add aren't exactly incorrect, they are sometimes not the most appropriate choice (like the Hillhouse Avenue article, which though it was in need of cleanup, was also in need of a VfD tag (which the article creator had just removed)). Also, while this comment makes you get your hands dirty interacting with wikipedia directly anyway, the bot user page claims it is currently doing interwiki. --W(t) 04:49, 2005 Jun 27 (UTC)

I have just reverted two additions by Mgmbot to the article Antarctic krill. It had added interwiki links to articles in Esperanto and Portuguese that were about krill in general, not Antarctic krill specifically (although they do both mention Euphausia superba, i.e. Antarctic krill). I've noticed that a lot of the display elements (like boxes and templates) are not consistent throughout wikipedia, and that many of them break under other browsers or are not W3C-compliant. I hope this is not an inappropriate place to put this, but there is a whole area of making web pages available to the disabled, such as people who have to use Brail, who have difficulty with keyboarding, are color blind, and so forth.
I would hope that as I begin to study the instructions on how to communicate effectively in this community, that one of the things I come across is a well developed section on that topic.
If it is not already part of this community, then someone please go to my Talk Page or elsewhere and give me a To Do list that includes making entries on that topic, since I have encountered info about this topic multiple times in the last few years.
In my opinion, this Wikopedia needs goals of the content being
- Friendly to most all major browsers
- Friendly to older people who begin to have trouble with color contrasts
- Friendly to the disabled
Perhaps some software might be practical that looks at new pages, and major edits, to see if the content meets certain standards, and if not, then place at top of those pages a link to the people working on that document, that identifies which of the goals have not been met, with link to where that topic is discussed and has a tutorial.
Please feel free to redirect my comments, or cross-link them where they would be more constructive to be placed.
