Translation request of interview of Yuji Horii

edit

If/when possible, could you translate Interview by Japan's Media Arts Festival. Unfortunatly, their English page does not contain a translation. :( This appears to be one of the better resources out their too. I had already asked Nihonjoe several weeks ago, but he's been unable to get to it.

I got the jist of the first 2 sections being background info on Horii, but the kanji is beyond me for most of that article. I'd like to use this to improve his article, and bring Dragon Warrior and Dragon Quest to FA level. If it's too much for to translate the whole article, concentrate on the stuff about Dragon Quest. Would you help to review a Japanese translation made by Wikipedians?

edit

There's been a recent discussion at the talk page of the article for the Internet meme All your base are belong to us. The topic was made famous for the gruesome Engrish translations in the original video game, and the article provided a somewhat more accurate translation along the original text.

The discussion could benefit from a review of the accuracy of these translations as it appeared in this recent version, by someone with fluency in Japanese and experience dealing with editor-made translations at Wikipedia. Thanks for your time. Diego (talk) 11:18, 29 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Greetings! I need your help!

edit

Hi! I cover the biographies of musicians, mostly cleaning up articles that other people just leave behind. Of course, I write them too. The trouble is finding photographs of those musicians. I looked for another editor here on the Wikipedia who speaks both Japanese and English, and I found you. What I need is someone who can help find a photo for the article about Keisuke Kuwata, his wife, and bands, and Hirokazu Ogura (小倉 博和 Ogura Hirokazu? and Yoshiyuki Sahashi (佐橋 佳幸). Can you look around on Japanese photo websites? If you find a good photograph, and it still has a copyright, that is OK too. Just please let me know. Thank you! --Leahtwosaints (talk) 19:08, 17 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
