De Wallen edit

Well, about the "legendary": you just mentioned in the sentence before that there are also unattractive women; furthermore, I don't really think that the average beauty there is better or worse than at other comparable places. To call it "legendary", we would need to have evidence of such legends. Cheers, AxelBoldt 18:12, 27 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Mark K. Biblo controversy edit

Thank you for suggesting a compromise in his entry. Your sentence was good. However, something more needs to be added to show the other side of Mark Bilbo. He has a tendency to become offensive toward Jesus and Christians. I have listed 12 links to 12 different remarks that were quickly and easily found in his usenet postings. Please discuss what exactly should be added on the talk page. --Jason Gastrich 20:39, 27 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Akchooally, if there's anything wrong with the statement, it's that it makes me sound more important than I am. I haven't attracted attention from "a number" of anybody. Unless you count Usenet trolls maybe. And, Gastrich, get a grip. If that article bothers you that much, AfD it or something. Man, you need a new hobby. Mark K. Hunting strategy edit

This article seems a little bit unfocused at the moment - it's a bit of a hotch-potch of assassination and law enforcement techniques, military strategy and game hunting. I wonder if "hunting" is quite the word (possibly a difference between UK and US English might be contributing to my discomfort here - in the UK it is used almost exclusively to chasing foxes on horseback with a pack of dogs, or to "big game hunting" of tigers etc) and whether a slightly different title would be more appropriate? The introduction (with "locating, targeting, and liquidating a target") seems to be in militaristic terms and does not obviously cover what most people would expect of "hunting" i.e. the sport of hunting game animals. Would it be possible to reword the introduction to cover these bases more thoroughly?

Sorry if this sounds critical. The hunting section of WP obviously needs a lot more content added, and the hunting article itself has got bogged down a bit by the very specific (but extremely contentious) British dispute about banning hunting with hounds... and the strategy/method content is extremely limited. I can't even find any reference to driven game shooting or rough shooting, two of the main forms of game-shooting of quarry such as grouse and pheasant - an important part of country life in the UK, barely touched on in WP, but one I do not feel qualified to write about! I hope you can improve the quality of the hunting articles. Thanks for your contributions, --TheGrappler 19:39, 31 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
