Proposed deletion of Michael Leinert edit

The article Michael Leinert has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. CtP (tc) 00:13, 19 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Additionally, creating an autobiography here is discouraged; see Wikipedia:Autobiography. CtP (tc) 00:14, 19 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

December 2012 edit

Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Michael Leinert. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. --Drm310 (talk) 17:06, 3 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Copyright violation edit

MLeinert: I have just removed a section from Michael Leinert because it was identical in wording to this, which existed before you wrote this article. Wikipedia cannot have text that has been previously published unless it is unambiguously in the public domain (the author and any other copyright holders, such as the publisher, have explicitly released all rights, or the text is so old as to be out of copyright). In any case, like this text, copied text usually does not fit well into an encyclopedia article. If you copied any other text in writing the article, please remove it; replace it with a summary in your own words. Thank you. Yngvadottir (talk) 22:06, 17 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

October 2018 edit

Your addition to Bent Lorentzen has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. stwalkerster (talk) 17:03, 4 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
