Categories edit

Hello. Regarding this recent edit of yours, I noticed you attempted to add an item directly to a category page.

In Wikipedia, categories must be added to the article, not the other way around. Please see Wikipedia:FAQ/Categorization#How do I add an article to a category? For newer editors, it's understandably a counter-intuitive system.

Category pages are not intended to be exhaustive lists. They are navigation aids; merely groupings of related, existing English Wikipedia pages.

To categorize an article, first make sure it actually belongs to the category. Then, go to the article and add the category at the bottom of the page. To remove an article from a category, edit the article and remove the category. For instructions on how to do all this using VisualEditor, see Help:VisualEditor § Editing categories. For further detailed information, see Help:Category and Wikipedia:Categorization.

Let me know if you need any assistance or have any questions. Cheers! --DB1729talk 11:03, 24 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

December 2023 edit

Hello, I'm AgisdeSparte. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Takhtsinhji, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. AgisdeSparte (talk) 02:21, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

January 2024 edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at List of Hindi film actors. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 20:52, 10 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Prabhashankar Pattani. Materialscientist (talk) 02:43, 18 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Barton Library moved to draftspace edit

Thanks for your contributions to Barton Library. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and it has too many problems of language or grammar. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. AntiDionysius (talk) 03:28, 11 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

January 2024 - again edit

Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at Bhavnagar, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. - Arjayay (talk) 16:33, 17 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use Wikipedia for promotion or advertising, as you did at Bhavnagar.
Please stop adding promotional images, especially with captions such as "Best Healthy Breakfast Of Bhavnagar" - Arjayay (talk) 17:25, 18 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
