My edit

edit

I accidentally got two of my edits tangled. Sorry. I intended to roll back one set of vandalism and rolled back to the wrong version. Bobo. 10:48, 6 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm not angry, that can happen. :) --Mg 10:49, 6 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Before reporting to WP:AIV

edit

Thank you for spotting and reporting vandals. However, could you please warn them first using an appropriate template. Many vandals stop after being warned, and this prevents the need to block them (which can cause collateral damage, preventing other people from editing). Feel free to ask me if you have any further questions. Petros471 14:28, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I thought I had looked at each IP for the last warning...well...I will Improve my behaviour. --Mg 14:34, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
If the IP looks shared (which is probably the case if there's a template at the top of the page saying so, or a long list of warnings, then if the last warning was placed a while ago it almost certainly won't have been read by the last vandal (as the IP is used by many different users). Hence they need new warnings. It's annoying, but that's the way it works. Petros471 14:37, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Oh yes, that was my mistake. Thank you for your information. --Mg 14:41, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Shay's Rebellion

edit

The test removed in the May 11, 2007 edit of Shay's Rebellion was not vandalism. It was removed because 1) it does not appear in the reference being quoted and 2) it is repeated VERBATIM in another part of the article.

Oh yes, theire I reverted too fast and made a mistake, sorry. --Mg 21:22, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
