Cauley Woodrow

edit

Hello. Please understand that Wikipedia works by only re-publishing what reliable sources say, and that the English National Football Archive, which is the source for his middle name, is maintained by what they describe as "club experts and professional statisticians". If, as you state in your edit summary, you know Mr Woodrow personally, perhaps you'd ask him to use the "Contact us" button on the English National Football Archive website to get it corrected. Or follow the suggestion made by one of Wikipedia's administrators to another of his personal friends here, and get him to tweet his full name. It's a pity his other friend didn't do that, they wouldn't have ended up getting blocked. Or see if anything at WP:Biographies of living persons#Relationship between the subject, the article, and Wikipedia might help.

But in the meantime, it isn't really helpful to keep removing the content. Thank you for listening. Struway2 (talk) 08:32, 23 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello!

Ok so what shall I tell cauley to do? He uses twitter all the time so what shall he tweet? Thank you

Sorry, I've only just seen this message. First, make sure he's aware why you're asking, if he isn't already. Then get him to say something like "to get my wiki page right, i don't use my middle name any more, my full name is just Cauley Woodrow". Then once he's done it, we can all see it, and that tweet can be used as a reference for the full name, and we can stop all this performance once and for all :-) cheers, Struway2 (talk) 18:48, 31 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
