I have retagged Image:Hala beogradska arena001.jpg with {{no license}}. Please note that there is no indication on the website that "The web site http://www.informatika.com/ allows the use of their images for education purposes and since this is an encyclopedia I suppose it can be used." For images to be uploaded to Wikipedia, the image must be explicitly licensed by its copyright owner. --Iamunknown 15:20, 1 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Aeronais edit

Hey, I'm just wondering where you got this info from: [1]. It would be nice to back it up in the actual article and make sure that it's accurate. --Bolonium 01:05, 8 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's all right, I'll leave it for now until something appears. It was just the thing in 2006 that confused me, saying that they were going to fly, and tickets would be "cheaper than the national carrier". That was 2 years after the release saying that they weren't going to fly. I guess we'll have to wait then. Take care, --Bolonium 04:12, 8 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:92249020344674d749f48c986565982.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sherool (talk) 14:48, 23 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:BackgroundIntro 04.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:BackgroundIntro 04.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:30, 1 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Commercial use of Image:Ftmnyjmn.jpg edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Ftmnyjmn.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Ftmnyjmn.jpg is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:Ftmnyjmn.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 06:05, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Nis Airport edit

Hey LukaP, im new to wikipedia and i just wanted to know the following infomation. There was an artical that said Aeronais just needs the "green light" to fly and you wrote somewhere that they dont have enough investers to fly. Why would they need investers when they have the aircrafts and everything else? What do they need the investers for? Should there be a page for Nais Air? Because they also have aircrafts and airports they wish to fly to. When Jat Airways gets sold to Aeroflot will it be easier for Aeronais and Master Airways to get the licences that they need? And do you think they will start flying this year or in the near future? Also when they get sold where will Jat Airways most probley fly from Nis Airport?

Answer edit

Hi and welcome. Aeronais does not have any aircraft in their possession and therefore they need investors because the few businessmen that wanted to start up this airline need more money in order to make the airline fly. The airline is registered at the Serbian aviation board and can start flying in 30 years if they wish. It is a law in Serbia that a new airline must have a certain amount of money in the bank before they start operations and I Aeonais has no money. Master Airways won’t be starting any time soon as they have been involved in a corruption scandal in Montenegro along with their parent airline and are in court in Montenegro. I don’t know anything about Air Nais and have only heard of it once so that is why there is no article about them. If you have more information feel free to start up the article. Jat Airways is staying away from Nis (well mostly) because the profitability of their flights to Vienna and Stuttgart (when they were operated from Nis were minimal). I think having the right aircraft is very important in order for an airline to make INI profitable. Once again welcome.

Nis Airport edit

But in 2006 Aeronais had 2 aircrafts? What happend to them? and can Aeronais start flying any time with 30 years? You wrote in an artical, after Jat Airways gets sold that they would start more routes from other airports in Serbia (Nis Airport). Are they still going to do that? also how many more aircrafts would Jat beable to get when its sold? Sorry if im annoying but I really want to know this stuff.

..... edit

Like I said, sorry!

Copyright of images edit

I tagged a lot of your images and listed them at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images. Go there if you want to avoid deletion. I haven't gone through all your images but some, unless you can convince me otherwise, I will delete without the listing. The fact that a website has images, does not mean they are in the public domain. The fact that they give permission to use, also does not mean the images are in the public domain. Please respond on my talk page. Garion96 (talk) 10:17, 30 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove the PUI tag, please explain on Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images why they are not unfree. Garion96 (talk) 10:44, 30 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

A few things,

  1. Getting permission to use a photo in Wikipedia does not mean an image can be modified and used for non-commercial and commercial use. A picture which won't fulfil those criteria is not free enough for Wikipedia.
  2. If you have permission for the above, please send a copy of the e-mail exchange to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org.
  3. I am assuming good faith but it is hard believe that as soon as I tagged an image as replaceable fair use it was changed to public domain.
  4. It is I guess possible but extremely unlikely that a site like http://www.montenegroairlines.com/ would release images under the public domain as you stated in Image:M0NTENEGRO AIRLINES.jpg. Garion96 (talk) 16:52, 30 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:556227588 0e3ec0574f b.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:556227588 0e3ec0574f b.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:
