Managing a conflict of interest edit

Hello, LucreziaManenti. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:Kama.Sport, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:17, 4 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

This is my first article, sorry for mistakes.
Where I can insert the "Connected contributor (paid)"?
It's important than Kama.Sport be on Wikipedia, as Wyskout (for example). Not for advertising.
I will cancell the personal link of the founder. And I will add the Serie A link about the collaboration and the Social Football Summit Awards. LucreziaManenti (talk) 10:46, 4 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
The template you used here is meant for article/draft talk pages. Copy the following to your user page as it appears here(not in the edit window, where I have added coding to suppress its function here), and fill in the information: {{paid|employer=ACME|client=W. Coyote}}
Please understand that Wikipedia is not interested in any promotional efforts for your company(in this context "promotion" is not limited to advertising/soliciting customers, it includes merely telling about the company and what it does). Our only interest is in summarizing what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about your client, showing how they meet the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. Press releases, staff interviews, announcements of routine business activities, and the like do not establish notability. Please understand that just because others in your client's field merit an article does not necessarily mean that your client does as well, see other stuff exists. It could be that the article you mention is also inappropriate. A topic meriting an article solely depends on coverage in independent sources- not every company in a field merits an article. What are the three best sources you have about your client that you intend to summarize? 331dot (talk) 10:59, 4 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi,
I have many sources meet the four criteria to determine the notability.
My three best sources are:
1. FORBES wrote about Kama.Sport many times, I live one of them: https://forbes.it/2022/03/08/kama-sport-startup-big-data-calcio-raccoglie-1-milione/
2. LEGA SERIE A write about the collaboration with Kama.Sport on their official website: https://www.legaseriea.it/it/sala-stampa/notizie/info/lega-serie-a-e-kamasport-inizia-lera-data-driven 3. https://milano.repubblica.it/cronaca/2022/06/24/news/kama_sport_scienza_applicata_al_calcio_per_societa_e_allenatori_pioli_spalletti_inzaghi-355268950/
3. LA REPUBBLICA is one of the most popular newspaper in Italy and it wrote about Kama.Sport: https://milano.repubblica.it/cronaca/2022/06/24/news/kama_sport_scienza_applicata_al_calcio_per_societa_e_allenatori_pioli_spalletti_inzaghi-355268950/
I have other important sources as RAI SPORT (https://www.raisport.rai.it/video/2021/12/calcio-kama-sport-intelligenza-artificiale-calcio-e1862927-c214-49ee-833a-5a821ce5b599.html), IL SOLE 24 (https://www.ilsole24ore.com/art/kama-sport-start-up-calcio-punta-all-estero-AEyCkYtB), MILANO E FINANZA (https://www.milanofinanza.it/news/kama-sport-la-startup-che-aiuta-il-napoli-2553914) and SKY SPORT (https://sport.sky.it/tennis/2022/03/10/berrettini-forbes-under-30-italia-2022)
I didn't know if the video interview on the TV are ok as sources.
Thank you for your time :) LucreziaManenti (talk) 08:49, 5 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
The first source is composed of interviews with company executives. The second is an announcement of a business agreement, a routine activity. I can't examine the third as it is paywalled, but it doesn't seem to be different from the other two.
Note that each language version of Wikipedia has its own rules, these things may be acceptable on the Italian Wikipedia, but they are not here. 331dot (talk) 11:18, 5 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

October 2022 edit

Hello LucreziaManenti. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:LucreziaManenti. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=LucreziaManenti|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 09:18, 4 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
