3rd message

Nice template that you are using. BTW now you have 3 messages. :-) --PinchasC 06:45, 19 July 2005 (UTC)

A third message? Noooooooo.... :) Anyways, thanks for the compliment but the layout is really my modification of User:Texture's layout. I am curious though how you found me. - Lucky13pjn 18:41, July 19, 2005 (UTC)

CSD

Heya, please only mark articles that fulfil one of the criteria listed at WP:CSD for speedy deletion. Anything else should go to WP:VfD. --fvw* 14:28, August 31, 2005 (UTC)

Which article(s) specifically didn't meet the criteria, to avoid future misnomination. Never mind. - Lucky13pjn 18:37, August 31, 2005 (UTC)

Path Loss

Lucky13pjn, I completely re-wrote the path loss article. I hope it reads a bit better now. Could you please review it? I may need a little help with format Kgrr 07:03, 3 September 2005 (UTC)

Are you talking about path loss or Link Budget? I was a little confused, because neither of us have edited path loss before. If you meant link budget, it looks pretty good. The formatting looks OK except for a few minor nits I fixed. The only thing I could see that might need improvement is possibly a little more description in the intro paragraph describing what exactly it is and where it is used to a layman who knows nothing at all about the topic (like me). - Lucky13pjn 18:07, September 3, 2005 (UTC)

seeking conversation with lucky13pjn

Hi lucky13pjn.

I was doing some research and found a page that had been removed, and yours was the only name on the page so thought I would write you (but can't find an email for you).

I note that a page has been removed from wikipedia that I wouldn't mind seeing, and wouldn't mind seeing the complaint about it being pov.: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Victims_of_Child_Welfare_Memorial_Day

I would certainly like to update the page to make it neutral.

The objects of the day should be widely accessible to people, and if someone else has done a bad job of a write up I would happily oblige by creating something a little more ‘learned’!

Cheers John Murray

First off, are you sure that the page has been deleted or removed? On my end, the page appears to be up for all to see. Regarding the content however, it appears that another anonymous user removed the POV stuff in September, but you can still see how the page looked when I added the NPOV tag here. I say you should go ahead and edit the page to make it better, and when you are done dont forget to remove the npov tag as well. - Lucky13pjn 15:30, 10 October 2005 (UTC)

Timelines

I noticed your Canadian Prime Ministers timeline. I was just wondering id you knew there was already a Prime Ministers of Canada timeline? I made the timeline a while ago, and it has the exact dates, but it is not as nicely set up as yours. I suggest a merge or sorts. You may also want to take note of the Governors General of Canada timeline and even this exparimental one I was working on. Zhatt 00:51, 29 November 2005 (UTC)

Wikimedia Canada

Hi there! I'd like to invite you to explore Wikimedia Canada, and create a list of people interested in forming a local chapter for our nation. A local chapter will help promote and improve the organization, within our great nation. We'd also like to encourage everyone to suggest projects for our national chapter to participate in. Hope to see you there!--DarkEvil 17:11, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

Non-free use disputed for Image:TurnerGarth CPC.jpg

  This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:TurnerGarth CPC.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:04, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Image:TurnerGarth_CPC.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:TurnerGarth_CPC.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast 19:53, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your uploads. You've indicated that the following images are being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why they meet Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page an image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
