King Mats moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, King Mats, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. October 2022 edit

Hello Luckimatic. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Luckimatic. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Luckimatic|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 14:07, 9 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Luckimatic, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Luckimatic|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. 331dot (talk) 14:54, 9 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

You still have not adequately responded or taken action to the inquiry regarding your appearance as an undisclosed paid editor. If you make any additional edits without complying, you may be blocked from editing. 331dot (talk) 15:58, 9 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning if you make any further edits without responding to the inquiry you received regarding undisclosed paid editing. Theroadislong (talk) 20:23, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

I dont know why am being tagged as 'Paid editing yet again' i find my article good as i have done all the necessary edits based on wikipedia templates and more research.
I would love some one to help edit it for me as it could be the only way i may get to know where i have gone wrong as far as wiki standards are concerned .
This is the article: Draft:King Mats
I will be grateful for that
Thank you Luckimatic (talk) 20:31, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
The Terms of Use require you to disclose any paid relationship you have with the subject of your edits. If you have one, you must do this, it is not negotiable. 331dot (talk) 20:41, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Note specifically, paid editing includes cases where you are not specifically paid to edit Wikipedia. As 331dot points out, you do have to disclose the nature of your relationship with the subject of your edits. --Yamla (talk) 21:03, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your support let me try to edit it again. And how can i engage with you in talk Luckimatic (talk) 21:08, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
You are already engaging with us in talk. You need to disclose your conflict of interest. WP:COI explains how. If you are having problems, please ask. But, the time to disclose is now. Right now. --Yamla (talk) 21:10, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
I edited this article again: Draft: King Mats
Kindly go through it and highlight for me where am and what am supposed to change. Thank you Luckimatic (talk) 21:12, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Last chance. I want to be very, very clear here. This is your last chance. Specify the exact nature of your professional relationship to King Mats. Do not edit anything else until you have done this. This must be your very next edit. Any attempt to avoid the question (either by not answering it or not giving a complete answer) will result in a block. --Yamla (talk) 21:14, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
I now get it.
King Mats is my schoolmate and since am a blogger from Kampala, Uganda, he approached me regarding publishing his biography on the wiki and all drafted about him in this article, is true, not based on our relationship that's why i was citing the external links as a proof of what i drafted. Luckimatic (talk) 21:25, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Okay. So you do indeed have an undisclosed conflict of interest here. It was inappropriate for him to approach you and you've been violating WP:COI, WP:UPE, and WP:PROMO. At this point, we require you to properly disclose your conflict, as per WP:COI, and you should give up on attempting to get that article published. In the future, please only write about subject areas for which you have no conflict of interest. Is this clear? Do you understand everything I've told you here? --Yamla (talk) 21:28, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Clearly understood this Luckimatic (talk) 21:32, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
That mean i should leave it in my draft space? Luckimatic (talk) 21:33, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Or how best can i go about it. Thank you Luckimatic (talk) 21:34, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
It's no longer your concern, so just leave it alone. Remember, you must still disclose your conflict of interest as per WP:COI before editing any article or draft. --Yamla (talk) 21:36, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thank you Luckimatic (talk) 21:38, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

As you have refused to disclose your conflict of interest, as required by WP:COI and as you agreed to do, I have now blocked you indefinitely. WP:GAB explains how to contest your block, but you'll need to start by disclosing your conflict of interest and telling us how you'll abide by WP:COI (and WP:UPE and WP:PROMO) going forward. I'm sorry to have to do this, but you said you clearly understood and then decided not to do what was required of you. --Yamla (talk) 13:45, 14 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
