René Guénon edit

Please see WP:Verifiability - all information on Wikipedia must be supported by citations from reliable sources. Please do not add unsourced information, especially after it has already been removed once for being unsourced. Continuing to do this can get you blocked from editing. Beyond My Ken (talk) 03:56, 6 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Not only did I provide the sources for many which may not have been obvious, you removed the obvious ones that do not need sources. Luceveritatis (talk) 20:48, 7 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
I think you must be not doing well, since you actually removed sourced material.Luceveritatis (talk) 20:53, 7 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Why are you deleting my arduous contributions? You refuse to talk. Aside from that, from what I have seen your talk page you have even offended editors personally. Administrators were notified. Luceveritatis (talk) 10:20, 8 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Luceveritatis, to discuss edits, leave a message on the article talk page at Talk:René Guénon. When you do so, ping the other editor (using a ping notifies the other editor that you've left them a message) by starting your message with {{u|username}}, in this case {{u|Beyond My Ken}}, and then signing it with four tildes. (If you don't do both in the same edit, the ping won't work, and you can't go back and fix it, you have to start a new message and get the ping right). BMK probably hasn't even seen these messages, and doesn't expect to discuss edits to that article here on this page. The original message BMK left here was to warn you that to them, your additions looked like they weren't an improvement.
Do not revert again, and if the IP that just reverted is you, don't revert with that, either. Continuing to revert is called edit warring, and can get you blocked. Information is at WP:EDITWAR.
Edit Wikipedia can be a little confusing at first. I recommend you go to the WP:Teahouse, which is a place new editors can get help learning how to edit. I'll also leave some links in my next message. —valereee (talk) 10:58, 8 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Luceveritatis: Valereee helped out by starting a discussion about the issue between us on the article's talk page, at Talk:René Guénon/Archive 2#edits by new editor. You have yet to comment there. The purpose of article talk pages is for editors to work out editorial disputes, but that cannot happen if you do not participate, and if you keep restoring edits that have been reverted for stated reasons -- as you just did despite Valereee's advice not to. Please stop bothering admins on their talk pages and discuss on the article talk page, that is the Wikipedia way of doing things. Beyond My Ken (talk) 01:49, 9 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
