You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Motley Moose. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. --Sloane (talk) 04:25, 18 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • warning. Remove the appropriate tag again and you'll probably be blocked for a WP:3rr violation. I suggest you read this. Over 3 reverts in a day on a single issue leads to, basically, an automatic block in most cases.Bali ultimate (talk) 04:26, 18 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Saw your post to my talk page. You are a special purpose account. You're uncivil, unversed in the policies here, and being highly disruptive. To call you an SPA is not an "attack." [1] It's about a bald a statement of fact as one can find around here. Now, stay off my talk page. I'll be reverting all your comments there. Make them in the relevant AfD, articles, or other public spaces.Bali ultimate (talk) 04:57, 18 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
I'm leaving your comment as an open record of your misuse of SPA characterization, now resorting to uncivil personal attacks and possibly mal-intent--Louisprandtl (talk) 05:01, 18 March 2009 (UTC).Reply

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 05:24, 18 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks I've been doing that. Sometimes I forget, so I go back and and put it in. --Louisprandtl (talk) 05:29, 18 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to ARS!

Hi, Louisprandtl, welcome to the Article Rescue Squadron!

We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying and rescuing articles that have been tagged for deletion. Every day hundreds of articles are deleted, many rightfully so. But many concern notable subjects and are poorly written, ergo fixable and should not be deleted. We try to help these articles quickly improve and address the concerns of why they are proposed for deletion. This covers a lot of ground and your help is appreciated!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page, and we will be happy to help you.

And once again - Welcome! -- Banjeboi 02:46, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I am on a film shoot currently and my access to the internet is random, at best. ANd heck... I do not know how to cut-n-paste with a macbook. When I return home tomorrrow night, I will tackle that article with a renewed vigor. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 00:24, 27 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

As a member of the Aviation WikiProject or one of its subprojects, you may be interested in testing your skills in the Aviation Contest! I created this contest, not to pit editor against editor, but to promote article improvement and project participation and camraderie. Hopefully you will agree with its usefulness. Sign up here, read up on the rules here, and discuss the contest here. The first round of the contest may not start until September 1st-unless a large number of editors signup and are ready to compete immediately! Since this contest is just beginning, please give feedback here, or let me know what you think on my talkpage. - Trevor MacInnis contribs 23:02, 22 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

edit

Hi Louisprandtl! As your MILHIST Military Avation Task Force coordinator, I'd like to conduct a short questionaire to give me an idea of what you would the task force to achieve and the capabilities of yours that might contribute positively to the task force. The four questions of this questionaire are:

  1. What are your strengths on Wikipedia?
  2. Which four military aviation articles would you like to see be promoted to at least GA?
  3. What detailed resources (books, journals, etc) about military aviation do you have access to? Please provide the publications' authors, titles and ISSNs/ISBNs.
  4. Which three military aviation articles are you wiling to provide assistance? This can be expansion, copyediting, reference formatting, etc.

Please reply by copying and pasting the following at User talk:Sp33dyphil#MILHIST Military Aviation questionnaire and filling it out.
