Disambiguation link notification for August 23 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited British Indians, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hindustani. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

"an affiliate" edit

Could you explain what you mean by "account ... was not named by myself, but rather an affiliate" please? Cabayi (talk) 10:45, 23 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I requested a modification to my username for the most mundane of purposes, and instead of heeding this simple request, I was met with an indefinite account sanction which can only be obviated through appeal, hence this appeal. Lost Atheist (talk) 05:46, 24 August 2021 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Wikipedia does not allow accounts that are or have been shared by more than one person. You will have to create an account that you have exclusive access to. HighInBC Need help? Just ask. 05:51, 24 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

This account was, is, and never will be shared nor utilized by anyone other than myself. The name this account was branded with was not my doing, rather that of, as mentioned, a comrade of mine. Lost Atheist (talk) 06:11, 24 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Unblock requests are not considered when personal attacks are made. 331dot (talk) 07:51, 24 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Accounts are named when created. If your comrade named it then they created it. If a different person is using than the person who created it then the account is not allowed. HighInBC Need help? Just ask. 06:12, 24 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Arbitrary Block, The Saga Continues edit

You are rather illiterate, are you not? Anyhow, listen closely. This account is not being shared with anyone, nor has it, nor will it be shared with anyone. The only entity with access to this account is myself, and this had held true since its very creation.

As far as the name is concerned, it is the brainchild of a comrade, not my own. Moreover, it was myself who created the account. Your asinine logic of "they created the username, they created the account," is perhaps the biggest load of bullshit I have yet to hear you spout in justifying such an egregious decision, grounded in nothing. I asked for a username change, I walk out with no access to the account that I, myself, created. What rubbish is this? Pray tell. Lost Atheist (talk) 06:18, 24 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

I am going to have to ask you to read our policies on civility and personal attacks. You are expected to abide by these policies when using this site. HighInBC Need help? Just ask. 06:23, 24 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • Removed the duplicate unblock request formatting, as only one open request is needed (closed requests must remain until the block is removed) 331dot (talk) 07:51, 24 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
    • I asked explicitly what you meant by affiliate and you replied on my talk page "The account was created ... on my behalf by an ... affiliate." Your statement "it was myself who created the account" only makes sense if control of the account has switched hands yet again.
We can no longer be sure who controls this account. I'll repeat the advice I offered and "ask you to create a new account which is yours, and yours alone". Cabayi (talk) 06:28, 25 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
