File:Huguette Toureangeau 3.jpg

edit

You uploaded, File:Huguette Toureangeau 3.jpg, where you either stated or implied that you had permission of a third party to upload it; or that evidence of such permission would be provided on request.

Wikipedia currently needs the permission to be explicit and proven at the time of upload.

Please read Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission, which advises on how to confirm the permission you obtained from a third party.

It is also advisable to ask the third-party what source attribution they desire, as opposed to marking the image as having been "sent personally". ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 00:12, 9 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello ShakespeareFan00, I'm sorry, I have very little knowledge of Wiwkipedia, and even how to answer you. Finally I saw I could edit this talk. I don't know if you will get this as a reply. Hmmm.... Anyway, I do have permission from the photographer. She sent it to me via email. What I am supposed to do?

LorraineHetu (talk) 9 July 2018

@LorraineHetu: - Read Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission, basicly you need to send the permission you got from the photogrpaher to the e-mail address listed in that page. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 07:49, 9 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
This section Wikipedia:Requesting_copyright_permission#When_permission_is_confirmed explains what to do. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 07:50, 9 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

@ShakespeareFan00: Thanks! I sent the permission to that email. Hope this works. :) thanks for your help! ~ Lorraine

File permission problem with File:Huguette Toureangeau 3.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Huguette Toureangeau 3.jpg, which you've attributed to ticket 2018070910004219, which does not contain acceptable evidence of permission. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. B (talk) 16:53, 28 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Notable people who have edited Wikipedia). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you.
