Welcome edit

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! January 2011 edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Flightglobal.com. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Editors violating the rule will usually be blocked for 24 hours for a first incident.
  3. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording, and content that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Dave ♠♣♥♦™№1185©♪♫® 04:29, 28 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Dear Lmruby, I understand that you have reverted twice on the article page of Flightglobal.com, stating that it has no photo archive... so let me clarify that... yes, indeed it has a vast photo archive and my proof is on their → website link here ←. And about your actions, please note that Wikipedia is a global community based collaborative project, as such we accept all constructive comment and discussion from all quarters but it must be done on the article discussion pages to allow everyone to participate. Reverting any content/text that is easily verified, without prior discussion, can and will usually lead to an immediate revert by the regular editors of the article page. Continuing doing so while still not wanting to discuss the issue with the other editors will eventually lead to you getting blocked for your own disruptive editing behaviour. Also, as I understand that you are a new user here on Wikipedia, I do hope you could take the time to read through and become familiarize with Wikipedia's policy and guideline which I've provided in the welcome section at the top. Kindly leave a message here if you need further clarifications. Best. --Dave ♠♣♥♦™№1185©♪♫® 05:29, 28 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Flight Global.com is not a photoarchive so I took it out of that category edit

Dear Dave: I made a mistake with flight global and I'm sorry. That's why i stopped editing when I realized you were right and I was wrong. I'm not sure how to use talk pages. Yours seems especially difficult! Anyway, I didn't mean any harm. sorry to bother you.
