October 2019 Reply edit

I declined your proposed draft because it failed to comply with the requirements under WP:NBOOK - which means it should address one of the following criteria:

  1. The book has been the subject of two or more non-trivial published works appearing in sources that are independent of the book itself. This can include published works in all forms, such as newspaper articles, other books, television documentaries, bestseller lists and reviews. This excludes media re-prints of press releases, flap copy, or other publications where the author, its publisher, agent, or other self-interested parties advertise or speak about the book.
  2. The book has won a major literary award.
  3. The book has been considered by reliable sources to have made a significant contribution to a notable or significant motion picture, or other art form, or event or political or religious movement.
  4. The book is, or has been, the subject of instruction at two or more schools, colleges, universities or post-graduate programs in any particular country.
  5. The book's author is so historically significant that any of the author's written works may be considered notable. This does not simply mean that the book's author is notable by Wikipedia's standards; rather, the book's author is of exceptional significance and the author's life and body of written work would be a common subject of academic study.

Your draft currently does not provide any independent secondary sources, which demonstrate significant coverage of the book. Dan arndt (talk) 03:40, 21 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

New Addition edit

Hello. I am here to discuss the point. So you mean if I write how [[Mesut Özil ]] was significant, I would be able to publish the page. LlewynYiming (talk) 04:51, 21 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of The Journey (Steve Smith Book) edit

The article The Journey (Steve Smith Book) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails to address the criteria of WP:NBOOK/WP:GNG - lacks any sources or references.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Vegemite Song moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Vegemite Song, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of How to Survive a Natural Disaster edit

If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A-League GAN edit

I noticed that you nominated A-League for GAN without significantly contributing to it. I would recommend reading the Good article criteria and improving the article to those standards before attempting a nomination. You should also delete the nomination page (by nominating it under WP:CSD G7), as you cannot review your own nomination. SounderBruce 17:22, 3 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

LlewynYiming, I have deleted your nomination of A-League because it was an out-of-process nomination. Per the GA nomination instructions, before you nominate an article you have not made significant contributions to, you should consult with those who have made significant contributions on the article's talk page to see whether they think the article is at a level where it can meet the GA criteria. Once a consultation has concluded (usually at least seven days), if the contributors believe the article is ready (or very close to ready), then a nomination could be made. There is an expectation that if you make a nomination, it means that you are ready to make any necessary improvements brought up during the eventual review. Best of luck going forward. He Bowls To The Left sourcing edit

Hi. I saw you adding some new sources to He Bowls To The Left but I am going to just say that Youtube and Quora aren't reliable sources that would save the article from the AFD. You'll need to find ones from newspapers, news websites, books etc. Anything that is a 3rd party WP:RS. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 08:01, 8 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello edit

Hello Guy.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I have made this account since I had been blocked from editing, but I made this account so I could keep editing. I clearly stated on my user page that I created under the name of Yimingllewyn. I also created doppleganger accounts. What's worng with that? Please unblock me. This has nothing got to do with WP:Compromised. I ahevn't done anything wrong. After I read WP:Compromised, I saw that you could create new accounts after you have been blocked. I have done nothing wrong (If I have state them here: ). Please rethink about this block. Thanks. LlewynYiming (talk) 22:22, 8 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You are abusing multiple accounts, and that is impermissible. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 22:39, 8 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Hello. I have not abusively used multiple accounts. I haven't edited much on my doppelgänger accounts. What have I done wrong now?

You admitted you made this account because your previous account was blocked. You absolutely cannot do that. You need to go back to your original account and request unblock - 6 months from now, and do not edit Wikipedia at all in the interim. There will almost certainly not be a better offer forthcoming. John from Idegon (talk) 01:28, 9 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Just so you are clear, the human operator of the account is where the block is applied. The protoplasm that possess the fingers that type the entries, not the account they use. See ya in 6 months.John from Idegon (talk) 01:32, 9 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
