Hello Destini, I don't know if you'll see this message but I just wanted to apologize for how unorganized my sandbox is. I've been so busy and haven't gotten around to it yet. The upper section is what was previously there and the bottom information is what I'm adding. I haven't put that information into the correct sections yet or included sources but I'd appreciate any feedback you have. :)

Hello Lauren, thanks for the communication! I noticed there is more organization to the article than before. When reading through the page I came across this sentence, "This sculpture is a good example of Hellenistic art because of how dramatic it is." Perhaps adding a little more into this sentence about the style of Hellenistic art is an example of multicultural influence relating to the Gaul and Greek relationship. "There is blood dripping from where the sword meets his chest." I think in class it was a strong point to connect the polychrome used on the statue to emphasize the dramatic effects of the blood being seen from far away. "Visitors and writers of guidebooks found many subjects drawn from Roman history to account for the action: the 1633 Ludovisi inventory lists it as "a certain Marius who kills his daughter and himself",[3] drawing upon the story of a certain patrician Sextus Marius, who in seeking to protect his daughter from the lust of Tiberius, was accused of incest with her." I am a little confused by this statement. Great statement, " A court sculptor of the Attalid dynasty of Pergamon named Epigonus is believed to be the original sculpture of the pieces." do you have a footnote for this to allow researchers to follow this bread trail of authorship. The article is unbiased and has a clear first section to frame the artwork. I understand this isn't fully organized, but good effort! Keep up your research :) and add in your newly found sources that aren't seen on original page. LunaNoir91 (talk) 06:27, 6 November 2021 (UTC)LunaNoir91Reply
