Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 19:18, 5 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Ref desks

edit

Hi Llaanngg. First, I want to say thank you for your recent activity on the reference desks. I don't recall precisely when you became active there, but I definitely noticed the new voice, and I find your input generally helpful, informative, and well-referenced. Second, I hope you don't take it personally that I collapsed the argument/discussion you were having with Jayron about hormone definition. Sometimes it is fine to get in to brief side conversations on a thread, but in this case, I felt it was distracting from the Scientific American article you linked, which I think will be very helpful to OP. In fairness, I extend to you (and everyone, really) an invitation to collapse my comments if/when you see me getting distracted with an argument/discussion that is not directly related to OP :) Cheers, SemanticMantis (talk) 19:15, 13 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

That's OK with me, SemanticMantis. The discussion was not helpful for the OP to get such a discussion, and that is reason enough for collapsing. --Llaanngg (talk) 20:59, 13 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

WP:RDC question

edit

Hey Llaanngg! Over at WP:RDC#Solving this problem using less brute force., where you wrote, "from 1 to 10", you really meant "1 to 9", right? -- ToE 03:16, 8 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Yes, 10 is not included. --Llaanngg (talk) 10:42, 8 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Beatles question

edit

You haven't come back to say whether my guess was correct. I'd be interested to know whether "Instant Karma" is the second song you were thinking of. Regards, --Viennese Waltz 07:31, 18 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

The Ref Desk Nazi

edit

It isn't the question that was the problem, it was the person asking it. They're a returning, long-banned troll who likes to screw with us. Hold that reference for when someone who's really trying to learn something new asks a question. This guy is just a troll, a familiar one we have had problems with for years. See Wikipedia:Long-term abuse/Ref Desk Antisemitic Troll. --Jayron32 18:22, 6 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
