By the way, if you're looking for some relatively simple, but moderately substantial tasks to get started in on, you might be interested in digging through this backlog: Category:Wikipedia articles needing cleanup after translation from Russian. If those copy/pastes are copyright violations, you might want to request a revision deletion. See Template:Copyvio-revdel and wp:Copyright violations Cheers Adakiko (talk) 03:38, 20 February 2022 (UTC)

Adakiko: I don't see a copyright notice anywhere on the pages I think were copy-pasted from. As a general note, the copy-pasted material was introduced here. I'm working on removing what remains; I don't believe any of that was under copyright either. Lkb335 (talk) 17:10, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
I don't believe that the page needs a copyright notice to be considered copyrighted. See Copyright#Copyright notice, Berne Convention Implementation Act of 1988, and Berne Convention.
If significantly large sections are copy/pasted, that is sufficient to warrant a revdel. I have seen a number of revdels of college content; seems too common. You could ask Discopinster (url to avoid pinging). Cheers Adakiko (talk) 19:45, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
Hi Adakiko, to be blunt, I have very little desire to delve into the wonderful world of copyright. I'm removing all the copy-pasted material from this article, along with all the fluff, and finding archive links for the references. If anyone wants to do more than that, particularly relating to removing revisions, they are welcome to. Best, Lkb335 (talk) 19:49, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
Good idea; I should use that as personal advice! Cheers Adakiko (talk) 20:12, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
My laziness should not be an excuse; I've finally reported this. Apologies for being so brusque in ignoring your solid advice. Lkb335 (talk) 19:54, 5 May 2022 (UTC)

Hi Lkb, thanks for your recent revert on Rusyn language. We could always use more constructive editing on that page; if you'd like to contribute more going forward, that would be great! KaerbaqianRen💬 17:42, 30 March 2022 (UTC)
