Your recent contributions edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Misha Bryan, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that.

Please also make sure to include an edit summary when you make changes to pages. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thankyou! Sionk (talk) 21:05, 20 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Musicfreak7676. I noticed that you recently made an edit to A Million Lights that seemed to be a test. Your test worked! Amelia Lily edit

Hi. I noticed you created an article at Amelia Lily (entertainer), however, Amelia Lily already exists. I think the article you have created will need to be redirected to that page and maybe the contents/histories merged. I've contacted an admin that, hopefully, will be able to help with this situation. The Amelia Lily article is currently a redirect because she appears to be notable for one thing at present. When her single charts, then the article can/will be created. - JuneGloom Talk 01:06, 18 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for August 24 edit

Hi. When you recently edited Live It Up (Tulisa Contostavlos song), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page America (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Reality TV contestants edit

Hi Lizzy Green! You asked me advice on my Talk page about creating new articles for reality TV contestants. As you've probably already noticed, reality TV contestants are normally redirected to their short biography on the article of the TV series. However, if they become independently notable for something completely independent of the TV series, a separate article will often be acceptable.

If one of the ex X-Factor contestants has released music that has charted, or been widely reviewed, or been added to a national playlist etc. they may meet the Wikipedia notability requirements for musicians. I can see one or two of the singers you've listed have already released their own debut singles. So possibly they deserve their own Wikipedia article. Of course, the article will need to be well sourced, to reliable independent news coverage, particularly any personal details. Blogs, Twitter, chat forums, social networking pages etc. are not normally considered to be acceptable sources. Hope that advice is of use and makes sense!

If you have any other questions, please ask them here, I'll keep an eye on your Talk page. Sionk (talk) 22:25, 24 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:Backtracksong.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading File:Backtracksong.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:17, 28 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Till. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Keisha Buchanan seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Blocked edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for vandalism. Most of your editing history looks sound, but you frequently insert false chart data. All of your edits to Selena Gomez related articles recently have been to inflate the chart positions and insert false certifications. Any admin can unblock this account when editor agrees to return to constructive editing.. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Kww(talk) 20:44, 11 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

This user continually fabricated chart positions for various music-related articles including those of the Sugababes, and frequently addded Keisha Buchanan to the songwriters when she didn't even write the song. I'm very pleased with this outcome as editors won't have to clean up the vandalism and mess this editor has made (despite the many warnings issued out; I have personally given 5).
