As I mentioned in reply to your question at Media copyright questions, there are a few issues that will have to be addressed if your article is to be moved to the mainspace. First, notability: please take a look at the notability guidelines for companies set out at WP:CORP. This is related to the second issue - references. You will need to cite significant coverage in reliable sources to demonstrate the notability of the subject - the company's own website, online directory listings and sites that regurgitate corporate press releases are not considered reliable - third party sources such as press coverage are the kind of thing that is needed. Some of the content is not really necessary - for example the long list of products in the lead paragraph. Hope this helps - please feel free to contact me on my talk page if I can be of further assistance. – ukexpat (talk) 20:52, 18 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Help making my page mainstay ready! edit

{{helpme}} Hi, this is my first article, about Steiner Electric Company, and I need help perfecting it so it can be mainspace ready without getting deleted right away. I added a bunch of sources and came up with a list of categories it can go under so that it is not an orphan like: Companies by Industry -> Distributors and Wholesalers. Also in Companies of the United States, Companies based in Illinois, List of Illinois Companies. Also Electronic Component Distributors. I also tried to link to other pages from my article. I just want as much help in editing and adding a logo that follows copyright. Thank you and any help I can get so that it will not be deleted would be much appreciated! Thanks. You can submit your article at Request for feedback - it might take a little while to get an answer, just depends on who is viewing! As regards logos, then Image Help might be the place to ask - there's a search box there as well - it might have been asked before.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 20:33, 23 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
