Your posts mentions an educational assignment. Can you tell us more about it, in particular, who is your instructor? It seems to me the instructor is not aware that Wikipedia has a large program designed to help instructors and students who contribute to Wikipedia. I'll second that. There can sometimes be difficulties - on both sides! - when students edit wikipedia as part of a project. If the instructor talks to us first, we can try to make it run more smoothly for all concerned. I would be very grateful if you could ask your instructor to have a look at WP:AMBASSADOR, or to contact me directly (I'm sure User:Piotrus wouldn't mind either).
