That's in the code for an inline reference using the Cite web template, which can help format citations. Put together, it should look like this: "Bill Summary & Status 111th Congress (2009 - 2010) S.3728". United States Library of Congress. August 5, 2010. Retrieved November 29, 2010.

Nomination of The IDPPPA (S.3728) for deletion

A discussion has begun about whether the article The IDPPPA (S.3728), which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

In addition to that template message, I want to let you know that I'm not trying to beat you up over The IDPPPA (S.3728); I genuinely see no notability in it. I might suggest that you start an article on attempts at federal legislation in design protection,including (as maybe one sentence) S. 3728, as one of the, and the latest, of the dozens of attempts in the U.S. ti enact design protection. In addition to the list I provided, you could discuss the severance of Title II from the 1976 Copyright Act; the mutation of a general design bill into DMCA Title V; some of the arguments for and against (The FTC has traditionally had a problem with this, concerned about anticompetitive effects of replacement auto parts, for example). I'd be happy to chime in and help edit an article like that.

There's a notable article along these lines waiting to be written; but one on the latest design protection failure is not that article. TJRC (talk) 22:30, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
