License tagging for Image:Burinpartsforweb.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Burinpartsforweb.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --OrphanBot (talk) 10:06, 24 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hey Littlerubberfeet, just wanted to say that you've done a good job with that article. When I saw it had been nominated for deletion I tried to find some info about him but couldn't, so I'm glad someone else could! It would have been a shame if it was deleted. License tagging for File:Burin-Parts.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Burin-Parts.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 04:08, 7 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
