Wish You Were Here (Pink Floyd album) edit

Hi there. I notice you seem to be edit warring on Wish You Were Here. I'm going to have to ask that you stop doing that, and instead discuss on the talk page the changes you wish to make. Continued reverting without discussion usually leads to being blocked from editing. 28bytes (talk) 04:48, 9 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

July 2012 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is invited to contribute, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Wish You Were Here (Pink Floyd album), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. You have been constantly editing the track listing of the album above for the last weeks without discussing it at the talk page, even though other editors have asked you not to do so many times (including the notice above). I guess this has already become vandalism by now. Victão Lopes I hear you... 02:34, 12 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

I followed the warnings you gave me and discussed the issue at the Wish You Were Here talk page. It is NOT vandalism. LirkMclean (talk) 20:41, 16 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at I Don't Speak the Language. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.  dalahäst (let's talk!) 08:58, 15 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

This was done by my son, not me. Do not take these edits in consideration of my unblock appeal. LirkMclean (talk) 20:41, 16 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Blocked edit

You have been blocked from editing for persistent disruptive editing. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. 28bytes (talk) 12:54, 15 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
Since my first message you seem to have progressed from edit-warring to pure vandalism. I have blocked your account indefinitely. 28bytes (talk) 12:59, 15 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Why My Appeal Should be accepted edit

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I was blocked because of actions my son did. In the appeal I told TParis this but at the end if the appeal I accidentally wrote sibling instead of child. This was an honest mistake and TParis was not convinced though I did give him lengthy reasons to unblock me. I feel that I have done nothing but try to help this website and be a good editor. I have followed the warnings I received accordingly and was banned by actions done by my son, not me. If Wikipedia does not unblock me, then it will be losing a valuable editor. Thank You LirkMclean (talk) 20:38, 16 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Sibling or Son, it makes no difference. Either you account is compromised in which case it cannot be unblocked, or it was you vandalising it which case it won't be unblocked Jac16888 Talk 21:05, 16 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You are not the person who issued my block nor the administrator who declined my original appeal. I think that this unblock should be reviewed by the original administrators. FYI: I talked to my son and he has promised not to edit any pages on Wikipedia. To ensure this I log off every time I am finished using Wikipedia and have set a new password for my laptop. Since you've requested input from the blocking admin (me), I'll comment here. Jac16888 is correct that according to WP:COMPROMISED this account must remain blocked. I'm willing to accept that the vandalism wasn't you, but the only edits other than the vandalism that I see in your contribution history are an edit which changed sourced information to say something the source didn't say (which is a big no-no), and arguing over the tracklist on a Pink Floyd album. If another administrator believes that unblocking you would improve the encyclopedia, they've got no objections from me, but you'll probably have to make a very convincing case that any future edits will be much better than the previous ones, by detailing the kind of edits you'd like to make if unblocked. 28bytes (talk) 01:32, 17 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
