Speedy deletion nomination of Himansh Kohli edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Himansh Kohli, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. bonadea contributions talk 07:37, 17 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

May 2013 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did to Humse Hai Liife, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.

Please note that you restored an older, non-copyedited version of the text, which included poor grammar and non-neutral language. If you restore the information you wished to include, with appropriate sources, please be careful not to restore the poorly written content. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 07:32, 18 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

A tag has been placed on Himansh Kohli, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. Please discuss with the deleting administrator instead of simply recreating the article. The article may be partly different, but there are no new sources to show notability, and that's what is needed. Please note that I do not have the ability to delete or restore deleted articles, as I am not an administrator. Thank you. --bonadea contributions talk 08:06, 18 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

May 2013 edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Humse Hai Liife. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.

Your edits may be in good faith, but they are destructive to the article, since you are restoring poor grammar and irrelevant details to the introduction. bonadea contributions talk 08:03, 18 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Why are you bombarding me with messages? As far as Humse Hai Liife is concerned, you are indulging in vandalism by removing the basic introduction para. Mentioning that the serial ran from so and so time to so&so is not vandalism and also why it should not be mentioned that show is about her relationship with Arjun, Ragahv etc. In Himansh Kohli article - new references have been provided. Previuosly it might have been deleted for some other reason but as of now it bears no similarity to any previous version and doe not qualify to get deleted.Lionbase1234 (talk) 08:12, 18 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your kind message; I apologise for not posting as many messages to your user talk page as you have been posting to mine. I do not mean to come across as ignoring your messages. Like yourself, I am concerned with improving Wikipedia. I would like you to be more careful with not restoring poor grammar and spelling to Wikipedia articles. Would you mind proofreading and fixing the language errors you introduced in Humse Hai Liife with your most recent edit? Thank you very much indeed! --bonadea contributions talk 08:22, 18 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Bonadea, grammar errors if made by anyone, that can be changed even by you. I will also help you. But only thing I am asking you is not reverting the article saying irrelevant details have been put. The changes i made were definitely not irrelevant but only improved the article. Point out if any grammatical or spelling errors if I have made in my version. I will change it if you notify me. I did not intend to hurt you. Sorry.Lionbase1234 (talk) 08:26, 18 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

If you don't mind, I'll just do the language fixes. Thanks. --bonadea contributions talk 08:29, 18 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Himansh Kohli edit

Hi, the problem is the decision at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Himansh Kohli where the community decided not to have a page on Himansh Kohli. One way to approach this is to have a page at User:Lionbase1234/Himansh Kohli as a userspace draft and develop this till it is ready to be an article. If you satisfy the concerns in the deletion discussion page I would be happ to move it to main space again. If you want your deleted page to become a userspace draft let me know and I will put it there for you to improve. The other option is to put a request at WP:DRV deletion review, to argue why there should be an article for the person. What you say about acting for 1.5 years in a TV serial sounds like a reason to justify an article, and maybe you can persuade others. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 05:40, 20 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I have restored your page to User:Lionbase1234/Himansh Kohli. If you look in the history there is also an earlier version that may or may not be useful to you. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 05:48, 20 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Blocked for what? edit

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:In_the_news/Candidates#.5BPosted.5D_RD_Pran - See here. I have been given credit for providing citations for the lines which were removed from artcile on Pran by user Dharamdyaksha. All the lines whcih were previosuly unsourced - for that I gave references and my work has been acknowledged in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:In_the_news/Candidates# as I ensured important information does not get removed from wiki artcile and does justice to Pran's body of work. Now though article has been retained, only sentences modified to avoid copyright issue, but I have been blocked!!!Lionbase1234 (talk) 05:38, 16 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

This: User:Lionbase1234 --NeilN talk to me 05:50, 16 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
This is unrelated to your blocking, but for the record, you can't "modify" text "to avoid copyright issues". The text must be written from scratch, it can't just be slightly changed, because that does not remove copyright. What you say above means that the article now contains copyright violations in the form of close paraphrasing. As for your block, quite frankly, it is a little peculiar that after all this time and all these blockings you still don't understand that creating a new account when an old one is blocked is not allowed. --bonadea contributions talk 09:34, 16 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Funny that when you were given the notice of your multiple accounts, you simply removed it. And now you are surprised at your block. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 11:06, 16 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Bonadea- my above statement says that though my work has been recognised and all my senetneces have been retained with referecnes, other users have only modified senetences to avoid sounding like a copy paste. It does not mean I have indulged in somthing which I should not have done.So its other users to whom you should say - you can't "modify" text "to avoid copyright issues".
  • Dharmdyaksha - Its you yourself who reported in that investigation page and claimed that I am a sock puppet and also sent me a message in my talk page. Dharmdyaksha you removed all valuable information from Pran;s article on June12th and 13th when the world was looking for details from Pran's wiki page. I took efforts to find refs and to ensure the dignity of wiki is re-stored as users like you ONLY REMOVE FACTS AND DO NOT MAKE EFFORTS TO FIND REFS AND DO JUSTICE TO A PERSON'S career.
  • To Wiki Administrators/ Senior Editors

Why was I Blocked? I did not indulge in vandalism. I took pains to find refs and ensure that huge body work of a person is described properly in wikipedia. Its easy to delete lines but difficult to gather proper information with refs.Pran's artcile was absolutely incomplete till the time I came and added information. I also provided refs on 15th July. I have been given credit for providing citations for the lines which were removed from article on Pran by user Dharamdyaksha. All the lines which were previosuly unsourced - for that I gave references and my work has been acknowledged in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:In_the_news/Candidates# as I ensured important information does not get removed from wiki article and does justice to Pran's body of work.So the block is unjustified.Lionbase1234 (talk) 07:16, 17 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Honestly? WE DON'T CARE. Refresh your memory by reading User_talk:Shrik88music#Indefinitely_blocked. Because you are incapable of following a basic policy, we don't want any of your edits. --NeilN talk to me 14:42, 17 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • NeilN thats plain arrogance. You should CARE and not be biased towards anyone. I have been blocked only to please certain users who have the habit of only removing information.Honestly I have not indulged in any vandalism. They do no add information and provide good references. They leave most of the articles incomplete. Did u read my explanation. The world needs proper information from wikipedia. Certain user had removed whole information about Pran's huge body of work on 12th July(Dharmdyaskaha was that user). So I to ensure that those information is retained came back and edited with New REFERENCES so that larger public who trust wiki, get information properly. WIkipedia definitely needs me as I do research and then provide refernces and then edit. I dont provide some information without strong references.Lionbase1234 (talk) 05:18, 18 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

You are not allowed to create new accounts when you are blocked. Do you understand that that is the rule in Wikipedia? Please do not respond to this by discussing whether your edits are constructive or not. The question here is whether you understand that a blocked user may not create a new account. --bonadea contributions talk 06:59, 18 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
