Linux Unified Kernel/archivelist edit

A tag has been placed on Linux Unified Kernel/archivelist, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.   Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Linux Unified Kernel/archivelist, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Darkspots (talk) 12:15, 25 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Linux Unified Kernel/archivelist. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. Darkspots (talk) 12:19, 25 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Linux Unified Kernel/archivelist. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Darkspots (talk) 12:37, 25 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi,

I have removed the large section of foreign text that you pasted into this thread. Please link to the page where you found it instead of pasting it into the talk page. Thanks. Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 08:56, 30 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Saving the Linux Unified Kernel article edit

If you are interested in not seeing Linux Unified Kernel deleted, please add into the article two or more reliable sources that mention the project exclusively. Reliable sources excludes virtually all blogs and forums. Language is not a consideration.

Secondly, Wikipedia is not Sourceforge nor is it the project homepage, therefore excess "release information" and "development history" cannot be included in the article. Please see also what Wikipedia is not.

BYD F3DM edit

Regarding your addition of diagrams to BYD F3DM, I have a minor question. Is the "M1" device used solely as a generator or are there modes of operation that employ this as a motor also (as when in ICE high power mode, or as a starting motor for the ICE)?

If you could prepare rough translations of the diagrams' text I could prepare new graphics in english.

Thanks, Leonard G. (talk) 22:31, 20 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi,the "M1" device is used solely as a generator. In Chinese, 发动机 is engine, 发电机 is generator, 电动机 is moter, 电池 is battery, 离合器 is clutch, 电力 is power, 变速传动装置 is change drive divice. In the HEV decelerated motion mode, the M2 become the generator.

Qubes edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Qubes, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://qubes-os.org/Architecture.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 08:21, 23 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Qubes edit

A tag has been placed on Qubes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Harry the Dog WOOF 11:32, 7 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for April 10 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Longene, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages ARM, WDM and DPC (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
