Hello laura

Hello! My name is Alyssa Cheadle. This semester, I will be available to provide help in understanding how to get work done in Wikipedia.

I am a graduate student in Psychology at UCLA. Last semester, I edited Wikipedia articles as part of a course in Social Psychology. I worked on the article "Just World Hypothesis," and I was able to nominate my article for a Wikipedia "Did You Know" feature. I found the assignment effective in helping me learn about my topic, the culture and norms of Wikipedia, and writing articles from a neutral point of view for a lay audience. I learned some valuable lessons while completing my assignment and I will be glad to offer advice to you!

Please contact me with questions; I prefer to be contacted via email.

Good luck!

Alyssa

Thank you for uploading File:Symbol-finger with string, which reminds person to remember.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Eeekster (talk) 22:32, 7 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Good Job, laura!
LEAD SECTION:You can improve the lead section by making it more of a stand-alone concise summary of the article.
LANGUAGE:You have avoided using field-specific jargon and explained them when necessary
LINKS:You have missed links to other Wikipedia articles in some cases, for example: .
NEUTRALITY:Your contribution maintains a neutral point of view and consists of verifiable statements, and it avoids becoming original research/opinion.
CITATION:You have cited facts from reputable, accessible, and up-to-date sources.
WRITING:You can improve the writing of the article by checking the grammar, verb tenses, and spelling. For example, in the second sentence, fix the subject-verb agreement error \"The Brown Peterson task....also be used\".
CATEGORY:It is useful to try to categorize the page. It will help others to find the article more easily.
REFERENCES:Check out the Wikipedia format of references (https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Wikipedia:Referencing_for_beginners) and try to fix your references to follow this format.

Good work!

Your article submission Brown-Peterson Task

edit

Hello Linnamor. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Brown-Peterson Task.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Brown-Peterson Task}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Rankersbo (talk) 05:44, 23 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
