Nunavut

That's not what your government says! All of Nunavut is on Central Time (UTC-6 in winter and UTC-5 in summer). I understand that certain town councils have rebelled, but they don't have the legal authority to do so. Did the whole "single time zone" thing never happen? Did it get reversed? Hmm. A bit more digging turned up an official proclamation re-establishing the three time zones for Nunavut. Apparently the "one big, happy time zone" motif didn't play well across thousands of kilometres of territory. Lincmad 10:12, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

It was a major screw up. Fist we had three time zones. Then they went with the one zone for a few months. Then, when it was time to go to DST some places said no way and some places said they agreed with one zone as long as it was EST. So for a while you had some parts of each town on Governement time and some parts on another time zone. In the end the government caved in and we all went back to the original zones. Cheers. During much of the year, it's either light almost all day or dark almost all day, making the clock time much less anchored to the sun, but certainly extending Central Time all the way to the islands off the north edge of Labrador was a bit extreme: you could actually move westward, but move east by two time zones. Also, during the summer months, it would be bizarre to have the sun at its peak at 10:15 in the morning.

What happened with the NWT's move to go all Mountain Time after Nunavut split off? Did that get repealed, also? Lincmad 21:38, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

First - Looking at the articles on the various USCA houses, I think if anyone put them up for deletion for lack of notability and sources, that most would fail. Do you think it would be a good idea to consolidate most (or all) of them into the USCA article, perhaps leaving Barrington Hall and Cloyne Court Hotel, and *maybe* Euclid Hall, as they have interesting histories?

Second - there's been a big edit war over various things at Barrington Hall, and right now, a lot of the stiff in the article is being removed for lack of sourcing. Do you have any paperwork or books (or know reliable on-line sources) which would be able to source some of the things being removed from that article?

Hyperinflation

I've responded to your talk page comment and edited the article accordingly [1]. If you have any further suggestions as to how to word the article so that people don't confuse an inflation rate of 5 × 10¹⁵ percent over a nearly 4 month period with a monthly inflation rate over that period and keep re-adding the incorrect claim of price doubling every 16 hours it would be most welcome if you make them or edit the article directly. I answered @ Talk:List of communities in the Navajo Nation; in general, examine the map here — if it shows an empty circle/dot, then the location is just a one-house Trading Post and nothing more.
