Thank you for uploading File:France 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup.png. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 10:46, 21 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:France 2018 FIFA U20 Women's World Cup Official Logo.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 01:45, 23 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

A tag has been placed on File:Https---1.bp.blogspot.com--reCdpIsvRO8-WdjdJk64xbI-AAAAAAABVAw-1a7 aPSdtvs1PwItVK1juzGuwrhOxy1FwCLcBGAs-s1600-germany-euro-2024-bid-logo-1.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Non-free rationale for File:Argentina + Uruguay FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Bid Logo.png

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Argentina + Uruguay FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Bid Logo.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 03:00, 26 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Super Bowl LIII Logo.jpg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Super Bowl LIII Logo.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Basically the problem is this: where specifically did you get this image from? It is official? Was it a screenshot or a scan from a specific official NFL program? Need to know if this is legit, or it cannot be kept here (which may happen anyway in a few months when there is a cleaner version without that background/or does not look like it was scanned). Non-free rationale for File:Tokyo 2020 Olympic Mascot.png

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Tokyo 2020 Olympic Mascot.png.

Thank you. — Marchjuly (talk) 22:22, 9 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Image uploads

edit

Please do not continue to upload files with missing or false information on their copyright status. Please note that Wikipedia takes copyright and copyright infringement very seriously. Images and other media may only be uploaded and included if they meet the conditions stated in our image use policy, and if their provenance is clearly documented. If you have questions, feel free to ask at the copyright question page or on my talk page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:58, 16 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi LightTower936. Your user talk page seems to be one long list of warnings and notifications related to image use. It's OK to make a mistake once or maybe even twice, but all of the warnings indicate that you are not being sufficiently careful when uploading new files. Warnings are designed to let you know that there are problems with your editing, and once you've been warned you're expected to try avoid such problems in the future. If you don't understand the warning, then ask for help; however, at some point addtional warnings are going be seen as pointless, and instead an administrator is going to be asked to directly intervene to prevent any further disruption. You've probably gone past that point already, so you need to be very careful with any future file uploads. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:10, 16 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
