June 2017 edit

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Lee Man-hee, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Hello, I'm Timothyjosephwood. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Lee Man-hee, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! TimothyJosephWood 18:11, 8 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Lee Man-hee shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Lee Man-hee. Your edits continue to appear to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

  • If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to place {{Help me}} on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Lee Man-hee was changed by Light713 (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.859257 on 2017-06-08T18:48:14+00:00 .

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at Lee Man-hee. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  Primefac (talk) 18:51, 8 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

In addition, I should mention that your contributions have been removed from the public record because they were a copyright violation of multiple sources. Wikipedia articles must be written in an editor's own words. Continued addition of copyrighted content could result in a longer block.
On that subject, when your block expires, please consider starting a discussion at Talk:Lee Man-hee about any possible improvements or changes to the article that may be necessary. This will allow other editors to discuss the subject and come to an agreement about the best steps to take to fix any errors. Thank you. Primefac (talk) 18:55, 8 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
