editHi - I can see a birth entry (in the QLD BDM site) for Lotus May Thompson in QLD for 1904, so your edits appear correct. The current newspaper footnote that she was born in Manley NSW is obviously incorrect. Do you have a reliable source that can be cited instead? Nickm57 (talk) 09:58, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
Hi- I'm not sure if this is where I respond to what you said as I am new to wikipedia! But, to answer your question - no, I unfortunately do not have any other sources except for the actual birth certificate. She was most definitely born in Charters Towers in Queensland. Lotus was actually my great great great aunty, so I also have family history backing it up. Unfortunately, most information about Lotus is incorrect, including the "fact" that she burnt her legs (it was a stunt!). Thanks, India.
