How do I update an image? edit

The [NHNZ logo] was uploaded to be associated with the NHNZ Ltd page, by user Alan Liefting. He lifted the logo off the NHNZ website, which includes the website background - this is not an appropriate version of the NHNZ logo to be displayed on Wikipedia. I am Database Manager at NHNZ and with that authority I tried to replace the incorrect logo image with the correct one. I must be doing something wrong because the new 'version' displays the content of old image stretched to the size of the new image. Can someone please help to get this fixed? Also, I'd like the logo to be displayed as a thumbnail on the NHNZ Ltd page, with a link to the logo file page where the larger image needs to be displayed. Added to that is the complicating fact that the company name Natural History New Zealand Limited is changing to NHNZ Ltd and the name of the logo file should probably reflect that. Assistance will be appreciated. Many thanks, Leta. Letalab (talk) 23:44, 17 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

I have reverted the file to the preferred version and added an image sizing parameter to the article. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 00:49, 18 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
